Battlefield 3

Here's a quick tip for enjoying the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 3: if you really want to enjoy the console version of the game, then don't play the PC version. Ever. I know that sounds pithy and a bit on the arrogant side but playing the game on...

If you're looking for a great single player campaign you're out of luck, rent BF3 or pick it up in the bargain bin. If you're looking for the best online multiplayer action then BF3 is your game hands down.

Battlefield 3 (PS3, 360) Review

Is Battlefield 3 the new King of FPS, or does it fall short of expectations?

Fantastic multiplayer action ; Co-op missions are challenging and rewarding ; Beautiful environments ; Varied action

Disappointing single player campaign ; Graphical glitches deter from gameplay at times

Battlefield 3 is a must buy if you’re looking for a more realistic first person shooter experience. The battles are long and take place over vast lands, and require careful planning and teamwork not found in any other game. Unfortunately, the single...

Battlefield 3

95% of the time, Battlefield 3 is stunning; the amount of detail and small touches in the environments is nothing short of spectacular and the high octane action moments are so well done that they command your attention.

The trainer has you loading out with tools like no damage, no recoil and unlimited ammo, making the perfect combination to take out the enemies. I have to admit I did find myself using the save/load cheat more often than in most trainers as it helped...

Battlefield 3 Review

2011 has been a year of gaming comebacks and heavy hitters and while there are plenty more to come, the FPS genre sees its biggest war this year with Battlefield dropping the Bad Company for this instalment and facing off against the gaming avalanche...

Despite a lacklustre campaign that only hits the high notes on occasion, the game shines on the multiplayer front. If Battlefield had been sold as a multiplayer only experience it probably would have ticked all the boxes, but DICE’s inability to weave...

Battlefield 3 - Xbox 360 review at Thunderbolt Games

Battlefield is the real deal. The series has been around for a while, mostly existing within some exciting PC-oriented niche that employs large scale warfare in the online space. It outdates most current big name franchises by a sizeable margin and...

Battlefield 3

One of the most entertaining debates in the gaming community over the past six months has been which is the better game and franchise, Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. In late October when Battlefield 3 was finally released the smack...

While the game will obviously not as sell as well as Call of Duty, I think that this is by far the best shooter that’s coming out this year. If you’re a fan of doing nothing but running and gunning chances are you’ll stick to Call of Duty, but if you...

Battlefield 3

At its core Battlefield is, and always has been, about the multiplayer experience. Let us not ignore that the majority of players will be buying this game exclusively for the multiplayer element. This is not some 'tagged-on', botched example of a game...

Battlefield 3 Review

Battlefield 3 ships an unbelievable mutliplayer with a short, unoriginal campaign. Game of the Year it's not, but one of the best online shooters it is.

Battlefield 3 Review

Best-in-class squad-based multiplayer gameplay with signature Rush and Conquest modes; awesome maps with a compelling mixture of terrain and environments; tons of vehicles and weapons that can all be upgraded; virtually endless depth and replayability;...

Single player and co-op games are incompetent and wholly derivative; Frostbite 2 is disappointing; some launch window problems with online servers
