Crackdown 2 Review

Do you hear that Agent? It's our Crackdown 2 review! Find out after the break if the sequel improves on the original, or fails to live up to the hype!

Disappointing that it's just more of the same, but what is here is still fun if you can judge it on its own merits.

Crackdown 2

I've always maintained the notion that the true objective of any sandbox style action game is to be the biggest, most obnoxious douche you can. Blow up cars? Sure why not. Wreak havoc on a busy street? Go for it. The Crackdown series though is...

There aren't many cheats available for Crackdown 2, but there are hints and hidden objects that are sure to make your time in Pacific City that much better. My favorite way to build experience is to take part in the agility runs which force you to use...

Crackdown 2

Still a fun sandbox to mess around in

Crackdown 2 feels dated and not in a nostalgic way

Crackdown 2 kicks off by introducing players to what has been going on in Pacific City since our previous visit. A plague of monsters called freaks have swept over the city, although just like the song they only come out at night. This plague must be...

Crackdown 2 review

When Crackdown came out a good three years ago, it offered Xbox 360 owners one of the finest sandbox games on the platform, and easily the most entertaining one. The long awaited sequel is here, and while it doesn't add much new to the series, it...

Keeps the same, fun gameplay formula ; High-paced, intense action ; Runs smooth ; Huge city to explore

Not much new ; Can get repetitive ; Visuals are unimpressive

Crackdown 2

Pacific City has once again been brought to its knees, and there's only one person who can help.

When I was younger, I had a sandbox. It wasn't particularly big, but it had sand, and the infinite possibilities that sand offers. It was fun for a while, but the thing about sandboxes is that it's just as much about what accessories you have, as well...

X10: Crackdown 2 Hands Off Preview - Now With Added Mayhem... and Wings

Documented mayhem from the X10 showfloor.

Crackdown 2 takes place in a familiar Pacific City – think Saints Row 2’s “reimagining” of Stillwater, something I still believe is a cheap recycling of assets. It does have a somewhat darker, dingier look though. In a scan of the local area, Cope...

Crackdown 2

The sequel to the award-winning vertical-world adventure, Crackdown 2 is the ultimate open-ended world action experience, only available on Xbox 360. The game lets you be judge, jury, and executioner for a huge, fully explorable city. Crackdown 2 takes...

Very fun, open world game.

If you enjoyed the first game or like open world type of games then you will enjoy this game.

Lots of collector items. Lots of stuff to do and find

Can be hard to find all the orbs. Online only orbs are annoying since I don't play any games online really so that prevents me from getting them

Crackdown 2 addict!

It was a breath of fresh air to me. Kinda different ya know. The graphics are not great but the animated look really grows on ya and it works well for this game.

Cool animated look. It has a little bit of everything from Guns, to driving, to flying, to superstrength, to zombies, to racing, to playing online open world coop with some buddies,to rocket tag and more. It kinda has an RPG aspect because of the fact...

Lacks a real depth to the plot, can be repititous at times other than that its a solid title

Wait until it's $20.

Has some of the elements that made the first great: collecting orbs, building leaping, super strength, etc

Mere shadow of its former self. Characters are only differentiated by color and no separate character growth. Too dark at night resulting in missing ledges and difficult maneuvering. Plot is terrible and can be completely ignored. Repetitive missions...
