Crash of the Titans (Xbox 360)

Ever since series creator Naughty Dog said goodbye to Crash Bandicoot on the original PlayStation, the series has floundered. While the reasons for the inconsistent quality are myriad, one of the key problems has been an inability to establish a tone...

Crash of the Titans

We all know how it was supposed to go; back when the Playstation first hit the market Sony were looking for a figurehead, a character that would go up against the deadly duo of Mario and Sonic in a bid to launch the new console into the stratosphere....

This game is one of those that will give you a lot more fun then you could have hoped for, while at the same time not being quite as good as you would like. It’s a good effort but far too short and not nearly nice enough to look at, plus a bit more of...

Crash of the Titans Review

A fun, albeit short romp with plenty of laughs and mutant mayhem

The game may not win any awards for length, or variety, but the game play it does offer is lots of fun, well acted and presented with a high level of quality. Those looking for nothing more than an afternoon riding around on giant beasts and generally...

Crash Of The Titans Review

Videogame luminaries making the leap to 'next-gen' gaming can be a tricky jump; just ask anyone who dared play the 3D disaster known as Sonic The Hedgehog. Like Sonic, Crash Bandicoot has a long lineage prior to making the jump to the 360, with Crash...

The game spends much more time forcing you to 'jack' tough bad guys than it does asking you to break crates or make acrobatic jumps as it has in the past. Despite offering less actual Crash than the original titles, this works out in your benefit. ...

Crash of the Titans - Xbox 360 review at Thunderbolt Games

Crash Bandicoot is a franchise that has a lot of making up to do to its fans. Ever since the release of the original 1996 PS1 title, the series has barely lived up to its potential. It has been a huge disappointment so far, as the first three games...

Crash of the Titans - Xbox 360

The crate-smashing mutant marsupial, Crash Bandicoot has served his videogame career as one of Sony's mascots since 1996, in the days when developers Naughty Dog first brought the franchise to the Playstation One

Jacking mechanic is excellent, Nice looking environments, Jacking mechanic is excellent, Nice looking environments

Combat is too simplistic, Repetitive minion fights, Rigid camera, Combat is too simplistic, Repetitive minion fights, Rigid camera

The Titan's skills are often needed in order to progress to the next level, where you might jump on the back of a Stench (a skunk/bird hydrid) and use their projectile skills in order to shoot a target which will unlock a doorway. Due the range of...

Crash Of The Titans

If only his game were as bold as his eyebrows

Old-school platforming ; Taking control of monsters ; Crash's pluck

So-so time in mediocre-land ; Where's the innovation ; Where's the fun

Crash of the Titans (PAL)

Decent co-op mode ; Lots of unlock ; Some funny moments

Poor graphics ; Repetitive ; Linear ; Not enough platforming

There were some good ideas here but unfortunately the game is just too basic and repetitive for its own good. Graphically the game is little more than an upscaled Wii title which is probably where a lot of the ideas for the game came from.

Crash: Mind Over Mutant

Console gaming's favorite perma-grinned marsupial once again faces off against his recurrent rival, Dr. Neo Cortex, to stop another evil bid for world domination. Crash Bandicoot: Mind of Mutant is a direct follow-up to the previous year's Crash of the Ti
