Dance Central 2

The?rhythm?genre, for the most part, has been?over-saturated?these past few years. After the sucess of titles like Gitaroo Man, PaRappa the Rapper, and DDR, the market started to flood with Guitar Hero after Guitar Hero iteration, until finally, it...

Dance Central 2

I never have and never will proclaim that I’m a dancer. I’m not a dancer; I’m a white guy that dances like a typical white guy. Though I do love me my dancing games. I know I’m a terrible dancer, but I have fun, and that’s what matters right? Luckily,...

Would you rather be the best the easy way or the hard way? For Dance Central and developer Harmonix they really didn't have much in the way of

Dance Central 2 is by far the best Kinect game out to date. It is also one of the only games that actually make you feel like the actions you are doing are being properly scored and accounted for in the game. Whatever Harmonix is doing behind the...

Dance Central 2 Review

When we last saw Dance Central on the Xbox 360 a year ago, it pretty much jumped to the top of the charts when it came to Kinect game sales. And that's no surprise, considering it's just as accessible and entertaining as the last game its developer,...

Then there’s the gameplay. And again, much hasn’t changed, as the game still goes by the Dance Central formula that worked so well last time. But if it ain’t broke, don’t mess with it, you know? The way the Kinect recognizes your body movements with...

Review: Dance Central 2

Last year Harmonix released Dance Central for the Kinect with great success and praise from gamers. This year they release Dance Central 2 with new music, moves, and features that will have your inner choreographer dancing to the beat. So after...

The improvements made in Dance Central 2 are remarkable as the Kinect has more points on the body of the dancers to look at and the game itself feels a little faster than the first one. With the new fast pacing with the dance moves, the ability to...

Dance Central 2

If any Kinect launch game could be considered a killer-app for the device, you might argue that it's Dance Central. It was a game that took the new technology and gave us a new way to play dance games, but also gave us a glimpse into the device's...

Harmonix has made some great innovations and additions in Dance Central 2, but the lack of competitive gameplay over Xbox Live is an oversight that stops the dance-tastic title from breaking that much sought after 90+ barrier. Still as much a...

Dance Central 2 will get you grooving with its impressive routines that strike a fine balance of accessibility, challenge, and fun.

Challenging choreography ; Smooth animation makes routines easy to follow ; Excellent training mode ; Two-player battles are heaps of fun ; Wide-ranging tracklist

No online multiplayer

The beauty of Dance Central 2 is its multifaceted approach. It excels at being a game that's great fun at a party, while also being compelling enough to play on your own. And it can help with your exercise routine, not to mention teach you a thing or...

Dance Central 2 Review

You'll never see me dancing in the living room, that'll never catch on. Except you will, and it has. Dance Central has perhaps remained the most enticing reason to get the Kinect sensor fired up over the past year, so a re-jigged sequel is more than...

Two players dancing at the same time is a massive plus.

Review: Dance Central 2 (360)

Dance Central 2 won't make you a real dancer (and it'll probably embarrass you if you try to play it in front of your friends) but it's still the best dance game available today.

You're going to get a sweaty, full-body workout; beating your friends' scores is even more fun now that you can compete side-by-side

The setlist is a little weak; you're still limited to two people on-screen at a time; no photo sharing/saving
