Darwinia+ is a crazy, addictive repackaging of two great puzzle real-time strategy games for Xbox Live Arcade.

Extremely addictive ; Mash-up puzzle/RTS/god game design still feels fresh and innovative ; Surreal visuals and sound ; Includes both the original Darwinia and its multiplayer sequel, Multiwinia

No significant additions or changes from the PC ; Multiwinia controls aren't quite as sharp on console as they are on PC ; Tutorial deals only with the obvious

The problem I had with it is I could barely find anyone online to play with. I found one match with another person, but he dropped out shortly after the match started, so I resorted to having to play the computer A.I. to try out a lot of the modes....

Unique graphical style; incredible music; addictive gameplay; multiplayer is a blast

Indie darlings Darwinia and Multiwinia make the jump to consoles.

Darwinia+ does run 1200 Microsoft Points — that 1200 Microsoft Points is increasingly becoming the standard for Xbox Live Arcade games is definitely worthy of some derision — but given the amount of content the game packs in, it's not much of an issue....
