Dragon Age 2

Dragon Age II provokes conflicting emotions. On the one hand, BioWare's flare for writing culminates in intriguing moral dilemmas and complex character relationships. On the other hand, flawed battle structures, rehashed dungeons and flat out bad...

Faulty game mechanics and disappointing maps, combat scenarios and storyline direction aside, Dragon Age II still has a surprising amount of intrigue hidden beneath the blemishes. The depth of character relationships, as well as the complex nature of...

Fast paced, fluid combat sequences ; Fully voice acted Hawke ; Tonnes of content, story and quests will take a few hours to complete ; Bioware not afraid to mix things up and change things

Graphics look dated now ; Staying in one city can get boring ; Quests can get repetitive ; Character customisation and interaction systems have been cut down

Dragon Age 2

Games Xtreme joins Hawke's rise to power as the Champion of Kirkwall, in the sequel to Dragon Age.

Dragon Age 2 is a fine game and it fixes a lot of the things that I didn’t like about the first instalment. It has a solid narrative and there's 40-60 hours of fun here at least.
