Kinectimals (Xbox 360)

Few games are as flat-out endearing as Kinectimals. This pet simulator and minigame collection is clearly meant for a younger crowd, and that audience will fall head over heels for the wide-eyed wildcat cubs that romp around with you as you move from...

If you're the kind of person who's ever wondered how much fun you could have with a baby tiger without the fear of being either scratched to death or arrested (and no, I'm not labeling you), then you should check out Kinectimals. I bought this game...

Kinectimals is a good solid game that’ll last you many hours, and it’s fun for kids (both big and small). The motion control is fairly spot-on and the interaction between both the player and the Kinect is virtually flawless. There's a lot of...

It doesn?t take sleuthlike perception to realize that Kinectimals? target audience isn?t dissimilar to that of, say, Hannah Montana (no, not paedophiles!). That said, the game?s message boards are beginning to sound like a Kinectimaloholics Anonymous...

Kinectimals is a compelling game for the young and young-at-heart, offering dynamic and impressive levels of interaction. Plus it won't poo in your slippers or die.

A virtual pet game for kids set on a tropical island full of games and treasure, Kinectimals is an easy sell. There must be a lot of children putting Kinect and Kinectimals at the top of their Christmas list this year. Will their dreams come true?

Kinectimals Review (Xbox 360)

Kinectimals is Microsoft's latest entry in to the pet simulator genre. This feline-focused game is infused with cute from its opening title menu down to its mini-games. This game is clearly aimed at the age 4 – 14 demographic. Can those of us older...

One of the most basic mini games that Kinectimals has to offer is those of the tossing variety. Here the goal is to either play fetch with your animal by making a tossing motion and tossing virtual balls or toys and having the cat return them or by...

As a studious and established – yes, I established my own establishment – reviewer of games of the video type, it's important that when you're on your next assignment, that you truly view the game from the perspective of its intended audience... It's...

Kinectimals is a great start for Microsoft’s more family friendly orientated Kinect catalogue and if this can’t entice parents to part with their cash, then nothing will. It’s adorable, engaging, fun, and really utilises the full potential of the...

Kinectimals Review

The minigames are shallow and repetitive, but Kinectimals is too lovable to stay mad at for long.

The animals are absolutely adorable ; Some minigames use the Kinect hardware in clever ways ; Beautiful and sunny presentation ; Decorating your hut has a pleasant dollhouse appeal

Too many minigames involve throwing one object at another ; Some activities aren't responsive ; The cartoony guide feels out of place

Once you earn enough points in free-form play, you unlock the next challenge, which is a minigame you perform in the hopes of earning a gold medal and a new item, such as a toy or a collar. These games are fun at first, partially because of the novelty...

With Kinectimals, you can have the wild cat you always dreamed of without fear of the big teeth, razor sharp claws or the ridiculously large food bill. This title definitely has the cuteness factor amped up to the max with the adorably cuddly felines...
