So pretty yet, so flawed

This, at the time, was one of the prettiest games available during the early days of the 360. I was amazed at the opening, how solid the models looked and how crisp everything was and then I started moving my character. He moves like a tank, slow and...

Graphics, Challenging

Boring, a bit slow

Chess for the Digital Age

The game itself has a slightly bizarre storyline that only those with a wonderful imagination will follow. However, it is still captivating and will keep you addicted.

graphics are spectacular and the cutscenes are amazing

the dialogue, slow and a bit mundane

Extreme Linearity and Random Encounters Hinders this JRPG

Gameplay (30%): 6

One of a very few RPGs on the XBox360, some good character voice overs

TOO MANY RANDOM ENCOUNTERS, music is not memorable, story is linear to a fault

What were they thinking?

This game is like watching a movie on US television - an hour of entertainment thinned out by countless interruptions. The game itself is mindlessly entertaining; wander around looking at stuff in between cut scenes. As a way to relax it's totally...

Goofy story, adequate graphics, easy to play

Insane fight frequency. You can't go five steps without yet another random fight

An RPG for Insomniacs - Enchanted Arms

For many people, the fatal flaw of the original Xbox was a lack of Japanese support – especially in the genre of role-playing games, a genre that can make or break a system out in Japan. With the Xbox 360 Microsoft has fared much better at gaining the...

Enchanting and Fun

At first, I didn't listen when my friend told me to pick this game up - I figured it would be just some hackneyed complicated drivel shunted out for the players who will play nearly anything. This is one time I am exceedingly glad I was wrong.

Battle System, Funny, Huge array of playable characters

Somewhat repetitive, no achievement difficulty

Consumer review by:

Enchanted Arms - Fairly complex, yet accessible for newbies

The RPG genre is dominated by Japanese-style games made for Japanese audiences (those Americans who love the genre). If you're like me, you cringe at the school-age girls in super-short skirts, laugh at the androgynous male hero and roll your eyes at...

Complex stats system, engaging story, great graphics

Battles can be a bit repetitive, goofy dialog

Enchanted Arms: - Keep Your Enchanted Arms Off Me

One of the original RPGs announced for Microsoft's Xbox 360 console was a title called Enchanted Arms, in development by From Software. Now I've always known that this particular developer absolutely sucks when it comes to the genre, but Enchanted Arms...

Graphics, Golem System

This is One of the Most Boring RPGs I've Ever Been Subjected To
