Two Steps Forward, Two Steps Back: Fable 3

There's an old saying, "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me," but I wonder what happens when someone fools you for a third time? That's essentially how I feel after spending time with Fable 3 on the Xbox 360.

The new hub system makes the old menus obsolete

We're still relying on fart animations to sway public opinion of our character

Worst in the series (may contain spoilers)

Your brother the king is a tyrant. He holds the people of Albion in an iron grip, and it is your job to make things better. You are to gather people from throughout Albion to stop your brother and his evil ways, making or breaking your promises as you...

Easy to play, Quite funny

Too easy, Too short, Too little

Fable III: - Meet the New Boss... Same as the Old Boss!

Fable is a fairly new action RPG series that began last generation on the original Xbox. Unfortunately the first game was hyped to heaven and back by the mastermind behind it, Peter Molyneux, and despite a development cycle that lasted several years it...

Unique Scenario, Fitting Soundtrack

Loses Many Features From Its Predecessors

Short but Sweet

Like other Fable games this one seemed to short but had a lot of excellent content. I know alot of people were buzzing about this new addition to the Fable series but for good reason. I am an amateur gamer and spent approx. 46 hours while trying to do...

More original voices *The "Sanctuary" (less menu surfing) *Better jobs *Great

No more "group expressions." (you can only affect the feelings of ONE person)

Fable 3 is short but lots of fun!

Fable 3 is a Xbox 360 game that is more of an action & rpg style. If you never have played one of these games you might really like the action and the humorous, at times, storyline. In this game you start out in the town of Albion where your brother...

Great storyline, lots to do, many quests

felt really short, graphics are average

Fable III is one of the most watered down "RPGs" I've ever played.

Fable III is a third person action RPG that takes place 50 Years after the events of Fable II. Apparently the hero of Fable II had two children. One is Logan the current king of Albion who is a tyrant that oppresses his people with high taxes, child...

Quests are fun and diverse.-Excellent voice acting

Too much hand holding, both literally and figuratively.-Shallow Combat

Too much hype, but it's still a fun game

One of the finest RPGs available for the Xbox 360 is Fable II. The game has been wildly popular amongst Xbox 360 games and, as a result, the anticipation for Fable III has been high. Indeed, both developer Lionhead Studios and publisher Microsoft have...

Improved graphics; John Cleese; solid RPG

Lack of strategy in combat; morality element watered down; can be too short
