From Dust

From Dust features some of the best environmental effects seen in modern gaming. The islands look superb and the water can be downright astonishing. The sound doesn't get the same treatment and can become very repetitive at times.

Simply put - you need to download the From Dust trainer.

From Dust - Xbox 360 review at Thunderbolt Games

On the face of it, From Dust is a game about a primitive tribe trying to survive and prosper in a world hostile to their every move. As a snake-like deity, it's your job to assist them in their journey and protect them from whatever perils lie ahead....

I've been practically foaming at the mouth to get my hands on this game since it was unveiled last year. It's gorgeous visuals, unique gameplay and the fact that it was designed by Eric Chahi (the creator of Another World) pretty much sold me on the...

From Dust is a fantastic game and a great follow-up to the Summer of Arcade's first game, Bastion. It's not quite like anything you've ever seen before and there's plenty of content to warrant a purchase. There are a few kinks that need to be worked...

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet

Don’t listen to those egghead astrophysicists who tell you that the \r\ncosmos is full of wondrous marvels. One thing I learned from video games\r\n years ago is that space is only filled with hideous creatures, perilous\r\n worlds, and weapon...

From Dust

A god game may leave players feeling less than omnipotent.

There is a respite from feeling powerless in the bite-sized challenge levels, where the action takes on more of a puzzle-solving bent by handicapping your abilities. One asks you to lead your people to survival when you can only absorb water; another...
