Guitar Hero 2 (XBOX 360) Review

I's not really sure when the whole rhythm game genre exploded, though I'm willing to put most of my money on the DDR series. The game was pretty unique – instead of just pressing buttons in time with the music, you danced around and pressed the...

A game like Guitar Hero 2 is a hard to give a score to. While it seems to be horribly simplistic on the surface, the game doesn't reward you like most games do. You're not going to get more powerful guitars or more powerful characters (you will get...

Guitar Hero 2

Finally, the phenomenon known as Guitar Hero II has hit the big white Microsoft box. The two PlayStation 2 games were a blast to play and now the folks with the 360 can experience it as well. So how does the port to the 360 stand out? It's as fun as...

Downloadable content, cleaned up graphics, and new songs makes this a nice buy for Xbox 360 owners.

Guitar Hero 2

Developer Red Octane hit a home run with Guitar Hero, a rhythm game that you played with a guitar-shaped controller. The game, while sounding silly in concept, turned out to be a blast when fully executed. After all, who doesn't dream of being a rock...

This game rocks =-P

Real songs(for the most part), downloadable songs, accurate timing, Explorer controller, looks great on a hdtv, great replay value.

Kind of expensive, buttons stick on controller from friction sometimes, whammybar problems.

Kids love it

A permanent case for the guitar would be nice. Using the box that it came in.

Works fine. Kids (teens) really enjoy using it

No cons

This is based on the rt73 chipset, which is quite desirable for linux usage. If you want to use aircrack, see (includes a link in replies with drivers that I found easier and better to use than those...

Fun game. If you have any interest in rock and roll. This game is for you

Not fond of all the songs. Live downloads not that great either, but I'm quite picky

I Love this Game!

Newegg shipped this in the guitar hero box, meaning not in another box, so if you have a shady mailman beware.

Great game, solid hardware

wish it were easier somehow to activate star power
