Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Xbox 360)

The latest Guitar Hero is an Aerosmith fan's dream come true, but the game's narrow focus and lack of content will prove unappealing to many others.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Review

When did Guitar Hero become the new 'Madden', offering track updates with each passing iteration rather than innovation? With rumors of Metallica and Van Halen branded titles on the way, get used to it. If you have played any Guitar Hero titles at this...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Xbox 360 review at Thunderbolt Games

You can't deny it. We've finally made it. Just think back to our first gig, all those years ago at Nipmuc high school. Only a handful of rebellious teenagers fuelled by angst were there to offer us support that night. Now look at us, being applauded...

Guitar Hero Aerosmith Review

It's the same old story, the same old song and dance. If you're a fan of Aerosmith and don't mind overpaying for a limited track list, this is your game. If you're not a fan, just wait for the fall, when Guitar Hero: World Tour arrives.

Aerosmith fans get 29 songs from the band's extensive catalog that they can play in Guitar Hero. It's got the same addictive gameplay and formula that's found in Guitar Hero 3

The game includes just 41 total tracks and still costs $60. People who aren't fans of Aerosmith will miss out on some great non-Aerosmith tracks included with the game

Ultimately, if you like Guitar Hero and you like Aerosmith and don't mind paying $60 for about 41 tracks, then hey, this is your game. Run don't walk and all that. That said, Activision is publishing an Aerosmith-focused game with a mere 31 tour...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

With Rhythm games and fake instruments becoming as common place as First Person Shooters, the grand daddy of the plastic guitar comes back to the table with its first (supposedly of several) band themed Guitar Hero game. The aptly titled Guitar Hero...

Guitar Hero Aerosmith has some interesting qualities with the Behind the Scenes style of storytelling and the band integration. However, there really isn’t anything new here from Guitar Hero III except the Aerosmith songs. In short, the title is...

Have you ever wanted to jam on stage next to Joe Perry? Ever wanted Steven Tyler to be howling his lungs out next to you? Ever wanted to be part of The Bad Boys from Boston? Look no further my friend, this is Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

Although it is a decent game I couldn't help but feel I was playing an expansion pack for GH III. There are few songs with no improvements over from the last game, and it even plays exactly the same. This may not be so bad if I had paid the price of a...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith review for the XBOX360

I'm so jaded.

Solid, albeit shorter, track list; Mediocre Aerosmith tribute; No co-op career; Why not a downloadable pack

Look, if you're the type that needs to download every song for Guitar Hero, nab a godly Top 1000 slot on yet another Guitar Hero leaderboard, or fawn over the Aerosmith poster double-sided-taped onto your wall, then you're probably not going to listen...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Game Review - Xbox 360

You've become accustomed to the fact that you'll want to replay every song on your Guitar Hero games at least fifty times

There's significantly less content in this title than in Guitar Hero III and yet they cost the same

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

Can one band hold up for an entire game?

Tough for GH veterans ; Great for Aerosmith fans ; Mostly removed boss battles

Too tough for newbies ; Comparatively small track list ; Just... dull

The band interviews that precede each set are often awkward, but credit to Aerosmith for participating in a Prizefighter-esque narrative. We don’t, however, believe that the one cameraman who decided to record Steven Tyler’s interview in 4:3 should be...
