Guitar Hero II

Over the past few weeks, tens of thousands of Xbox 360 owners have come to learn what millions of PlayStation 2 gamers have known for quite some time now: the Guitar Hero franchise rocks!

Ok, so the Gibson X-Plorer guitar controller isn't wireless, there's currently no online play, and the downloadable Track Packs are a little pricey. Big deal. Xbox 360 gamers are still in for a real treat. If this is your first exposure to the Guitar...

Guitar Hero II

We've all had that dream, and I'm not talking about the ‘naked in public' one. The one I'm talking about, is the dream of rock flowing from your fingertips like sweet lightning from Zeus. However, many of us can't handle the setbacks of Sexually...

Guitar Hero II

What can be said about Guitar Hero II on the Xbox 360 that you don't already know? So much has been written already about the franchise that it's hard to come up with something original. I'm not going to bother explaining the game. Go read my reviews...

It's still Guitar Hero II ; Leaderboards ; New guitar body

No online multiplayer ; Downloadable content is not worth it ; New guitar neck may not "be right" for you

It's an excellent game - go pick up the PS2 version.

Guitar Hero II

One of my two little annoyances about this game was mentioned in this review. The lack of licenses really bothered me. A prime example is one given of a classic song by Heart. "Crazy on You" is no exception to any other Heart song that is reliant on...

The best way to play air guitar ever conceived. It's only a coincidence that it just so happens to be the most fun rhythm game ever made, to boot.

Guitar Hero II Review

When they say "unleash your inner rock star," they aren't kidding.

If you've never played a game in the Guitar Hero series, this is definitely the game to get of the three games released It is expected to have downloadable content of even more songs (rumor has it some of the original Guitar Hero 1 songs will be...

Guitar Hero II

I've always wanted to be part of a rock band. At a young age, my brother bought me a bass guitar and for himself, an electric guitar. We wanted to form a group and rock out, but that never came to be. A few years later, we sold the guitars on eBay....

Guitar Hero II is an amazing game. There is no better party game on the 360, or any console for that matter. I found myself getting up early just so I could rip a few tunes before I had to leave the house then just as quickly getting back on as soon as...

Guitar Hero II Review

Guitar Hero revolutionized the music gaming industry a few years ago when in launched on the Playstation 2 gaming system, considering we never got to play it on the Xbox 1 most people just figured it would be a Playstation 3 game, not an Xbox 360...

Control wise you have a new guitar from the guys over at Harmonix, one not much different from the PS2 version but a cool addition nonetheless. It is white to match the color of the standard Xbox 360 and has 5 colored buttons across the end of the...

Guitar Hero II Game Review - Xbox 360

What you get in the Xbox 360 version is essentially the same game that appeared on the PS2, only with a few additions. The game has a Career and Quick Play modes for Single Player, as well as a Practice mode to hone your shredding skills. If you want...

Very addictive, whether you're playing solo or with a friend. Great list of songs with more on the way

If you're not sure you'll get into this game, renting it is a good way of figuring out whether you want to fork over the 90 dollars to buy it. Just make sure you play it with the guitar contoller

Everything looks cleaner, sharper, and more detailed in this next-gen version. The game still retains the same overall style that the PS2 version had, but it’s more polished. This having been said, Guitar Hero II isn’t really taxing the 360’s graphics...
