You should avoid the Noid because he ruins pizzas. You should also avoid Hell Yeah!

Hell Yeah! Review: Parts is Parts

Arkedo Studio's wild ride offers 25 years of platforming fun in a fast food package.

Play Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit for just a few minutes, and you'll notice that the game proudly wears its inspirations on its sleeve. Mix the platforming of Sonic the Hedgehog and the sprawling level design of Earthworm Jim into a framework...

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is the equivalent of a screaming two year old, who with some aging and parental guidance could have become a solid platforming adult. It’s clear that Arkedo really loves their characters and the world they inhabit....

Hell Yeah! has 101 ideas and each one clashes with the next. Scratch at the surface and there’s no substance underneath. It’s highly energetic in attitude and then does all it can to hamper and slow the player’s progress and enjoyment. All filler, no...

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit Review

An emphasis on style over substance defines Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, though unfortunately even the stylish aspects have serious problems.

Responsive controls ; Interesting puzzles

Awful quick-time events ; Distracting visual design ; Verbose, cliche dialogue ; The Island management subgame is nearly worthless ; Punishing checkpoint system

Instead of being made up of enjoyable traversal and exploration, the majority of Hell Yeah features by-rote stretches that pad the overall length until you face the next of your many antagonists. It's when you square off against your 100 most hated...

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit Review

Certainly one of the most eccentric games you will play this year, but is it any good?

Art style is fantastic ; The humor is genuinely funny ; Gameplay is solid ; Music is fantastic

Quirky checkpoints at times ; Awkward mini-games

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit

You are a rabbit. You are the Prince of Hell. Someone has some revealing photos of you. What are you going to do? Unleash your wrath, that's what!

We have a game that is fast, furious and fun but does occasionally frustrate. Although a platformer, it is not for little kids, the humour is aimed at a fairly mature audience. It delivers a fun and challenging game.
