Just Cause 2

Just Cause 2 takes the original game's protagonist Rico Rodriguez and drops him onto another island nation. This time, instead of Latin America, we get South-East Asia as the setting. Aside from a new locale, there's a lot remaining from the original...

Fun + Grappling hook is the great all-purpose tool + Massive amounts of mayhem and destruction + Huge area to do just about anything

Missions get boring and repetitive - Bland story - Voice acting - Visual glitches (pop-ups, draw in, etc.)

Not perfect, and could use some improvement, but Just Cause 2 is a very fun game.

Review: Just Cause 2

Just Cause 2 contains the essence of the entire game in its title, but until you've played it yourself it's difficult to realize. As a sequel to one of the earlier niche titles for the 360, improvements have been made to the original in nearly every...

When I was in my prime, many moons ago, strutting my stuff in the school yard and all that, I had a lady friend who I was pretty close with if you catch my drift. This is a true story, so bear with me. She was an attractive young lady who most of the...

Just Cause 2 isn’t going to win any prizes for its trite story and constricting mission structure, but it’s a game that provide moments that no other game can create. The grappling hook revamp has created a gadget that is nothing short of stunning, but...

How A Sequel Should Be

Just Cause 2 is packed with memorable moments, but every single one of them will be created by the player sans the opening sequence. Creating havoc has not been this much fun since players were first treated to GTA3 many years ago. The game’s...

Just Cause 2

In my first play session with Just Cause 2, I jumped out of plane, collided with a body in mid-air, parachuted down to the ground. Soon after, I assaulted (and destroyed) a military compound and took down an enemy helicopter, before taking to the skies...

Just Cause 2 is a fantastic action game, reminiscent of your favourite action movie. The open world is stunning and the level of detail that Avalanche Studios have gone too is amazing. A significant improvement on the original game.

I never played the original Just Cause, but heard of its disappointing side missions, buggy (and short) single player and a next gen game held back by its previous generation counterparts, you can safely assume I wasn't very excited about a fully...
