Mad Tracks

In the realm of downloadable games on consoles, I think I can be safe in saying that, at the moment, the Xbox 360 is king. That is… except when it comes to racing games. For under $10 you can get a multitude of classic Playstation racing games on the...

A good variety of minigame-esque game modes

Unimpressive graphics, sound and presentation ; Little depth ; Nothing to really make it memorable or set it apart from the crowd ; Not enough content to justify the $10 price tag

Mad Tracks makes for a nice distraction, but it’s doubtful that you’ll want to play this for more than ten minutes at a time. Even then, there’s little here to make this a memorable experience, let alone one worth $10.

Mad Tracks Review

Miniature cars racing in life sized environments is nothing new, as fans of Micro Machines can attest. Racing style party games are nothing new either, as we've seen with the Mario Kart series. The only thing really new about Mad Tracks is that it is...

Mad Tracks on Xbox 360

Meh

Mad Tracks starts off fun, and each level will entertain through the first play through, but the replay grows flat sooner rather than later. The developers promise to release expansion packs for this game in the future, but the initial 800MS point cost...

Load Inc. (Legacy of Artists and Developers), a conglomeration of former Ubisoft employees, brings Mad Tracks to XBLA. Many may know this title from the PC demo and pay-for digital content on Load's website. For 800 Microsoft Points, let's see what...

Overall, the single-player is a boring affair. Online multiplayer is not worth the hassle. If you have a few friends over, split-screen is worth looking into for some easy, fun, party-style gaming or if you want to entertain a 6-8 year old child,...

Mad Tracks Xbox Live Arcade Review

When I first read the news of Mad Tracks coming to the XBLA I thought to myself we would all be seeing a Micro Machines clone. Well, I was close.

Gamers who enjoyed Micro Machines and that type of gameplay with the micro cars and huge furniture around the tracks will definately enjoy this title. Otherwise, be sure to check out the trial before you fork over your 800ms points.

Mad Tracks - Xbox Live Arcade

Micro-sized motor vehicles fuel another gem on Live Arcade

Loads of game modes ; They're all online ; Simple yet deep gameplay

Budget visuals ; Confusing early sections ; Waiting for expansions

May 30, 2007 was a red-letter day for race fans with an Xbox 360. Forza Motorsport 2, probably the most anticipated driving game of the year, hits this day. But the type of road rage found in that game appeals more to gearheads and purists; not to...

Mad Tracks

Xbox Live Arcade's dearth of racing games struck me the moment I first fired up my 360, and while Mad Tracks does a fine job at providing me with racing thrills at a fast pace, it would have benefited greatly if some depth had been added to the...

In the end, Mad Tracks is a standard kart racer with a bunch of well-done, but hollow mini-games tacked on that gets old quickly in single player, but has its life extended with multi-player, where the added competition adds a great deal of fun to the...

Rev it up in Mad Tracks, an action-packed toy-car racing game. Races take place in everyday environments such as toy stores, mini golf parks, and restaurants. Extra challenges add to this car arcade party game's fast-moving fun. Play with friends on a...
