Metal Gear HD Collection Review: The Best Stealth Action Anytime, Anywhere

Some of the most important stealth-action games of all time in one impressive portable package.

A few weeks ago, after realizing I've bought no less than five different versions of both Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, I took to Twitter for feedback. Was I the only person guilty of re-buying these games so often? I've owned the original releases, the...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

HD collections are becoming the norm at this late stage in the console cycle. They are a rather easy grab at the consumers pockets, but are also

In the end, with Metal Gear Solid HD Collection you are getting 3 games in a classic series that will last you a good 30 hours, maybe double if you partake in all of the side activities and extras that the games have. It comes close to the value of the...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (360, PS3) Review

Three classic games in one package? Sign me up!

Three great games for one price ; Each game looks better than ever with the HD remake ; Allows old fan to relive their favorite moments and new fans to find them for the first time

Control issues are still there ; Gameplay may feel dated at times ; Very little else added in way of extras

Pretty much any flaw you’ll find with this collection is simply a statement on the era of gaming for which these games took place. The collection promises little else than updated graphics, and in that sense they knocked it out of the park. All three...

Review: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Metal Gear Solid has been a fan favorite for since the early 90's. Everyone and their grandfather knows who “Snake” is and his trusty partners “Raven” and “Big Boss.” Well now the classic series is out again in a nice little bundle to be played in...

Great HD quality graphics, improved audio and picture, replay all your favorite Metal Gear games in one nice set, the set even includes the original NES games

Collection does not include the first Solid game for PS1, graphics can be a bit glitchy at times, no mention of the NES games anywhere on the box or manual

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Review (Xbox 360)

Metal Gear Solid Collection includes three full games packed across two discs. Included are Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and the previously handheld exclusive Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. That is a lot of content to chew through so where...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Review

Three Metal Gear Solid games are in HD for the first time. Should you buy them? Yes. Yes, you should.

When you bundle together three games that people define as "classics," you expect an amazing product. The Metal Gear Solid Collection delivers that. The controls, stories and content so many fell in love with years ago are here, but time shows up as...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Review

Snake's back to remind us why we loved him in the first place.

The bottom line: If you've never played these classics, you owe it to yourself to run out and pick up a copy this instant. If you've played them before, this is a budget-priced return to some of the most influential video games ever made. Either way,...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Only a few games deserve to live beyond the generation in which they were released, and fewer titles still that deserve immortality. Although critics like Roger Ebert can blather on and on about how video games are not art, all one needs to do is...

If possible, this reviewer recommends players experience the even older title, Metal Gear Solid, before embarking on this package (especially if you are new to the whole series). The boss battle against Psycho Mantis alone will educate you in a hurry...

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Bluepoint Games has done an admirable job collating one of gaming's most unique, important and frustrating franchises.

It's more difficult to appreciate Metal Gear Solid 2 without having played the original, but this curious antique product will still tickle the nostalgia glands of anyone who was gaming at the turn of the millennium.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Review

Three games from the iconic series get a HD make over all in one content filled package!

Technically the "Metal Gear Solid HD Collection" cannot be called the definitive collection as so many games from the series have been omitted and it has proven an interesting choice to pick the three games included.
