Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes: Short, but still slick

One of the grandfathers of stealth, Metal Gear Solid, has seen a lot of changes over the years. You can almost track the slow evolution of the genre with each iteration, going from traditional stealth with the original title to a more streamlined,...

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review

Try as I might, I just can't get used to hearing Kiefer Sutherland as Snake. To me the character will forever be indelibly linked to former Snake voice actor David Hayter, in the same way that Kiefer's husky tones will always bring to mind Jack Bauer...

On paper, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes sounds like an elaborate demo. In reality, it's a bigger game than it initially seems. Spend five hours with the game, and you'll be lucky if your completion is even nearing 25%. Play for eight or more, and...

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is fantasticly over-priced.

Combat gets some love too. In addition to completely believable weapon firing physics and character movement, you also get slow motion detection sequences that add a ton of value to the gameplay. After an enemy detects you fully, you get a few seconds...

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review

The buzz you may have heard is, this is a relatively short campaign that can pretty much be knocked over in roughly two hours, and this is correct. However, what Ground Zeroes does is offer a compelling package of bite-sized replayability baselined...

Typically, the opening in-game cut-scene oozes with Kojima's directing style and teases more to come; The sandbox play-space offers many different ways to approach mission objectives and challenges; At night and in the rain, Fox Engine shines; Plenty...

Typical MGS storyline and characters might heavily confuse newcomers; Fox Engine shines less during daylight missions; The confined play-space might not be enough for some to fork out the game's cost

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review

There's been uproar over the content of the absurdly named Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes ever since people found out it could be completed in just o [...]

"Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" is the best playing Metal Gear game to date. Sure, it’s light on content, but for the price it’s actually rather good value assuming you don’t mind playing a number of scenarios within the same confines. It looks...

Flash Memory not supported

N/A Did not get the chance to experience the game.

Konami did not make the game supported by anything but on the on-board Harddrive. Individuals with Xbox 360 Arcades will not be able to run the game. There are options to upgrade your HD - DYI seems more appealing since Microsoft charges a heavy price...

Great prequal

You will need an internal storage drive sufficient to play the game as it has that much content and it would mess with game quality if it didn't have it. So if you have the classic 360 or the 4GB consoles you will not be able to play this. Upgrade,...

Super hyped for the full story. Game play style is indeed wonderful. Once you get used to it, you will wish other games did it this way.

If you skip buying this, you will regret it.
