Might & Magic: Clash Of Heroes

Originally released on the Nintendo DS, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes arrived on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live with a significant upgrade to the graphics. Not only did the aspect ratio get altered, but the picture got a high definition...

Solid strategic battles ; Fun story to play through

Loading ; Random arrival of units on the playing field hinders the player more often than helps ; Not enough role-playing elements ; Loading ; Full screen isn't used effectively

The problems Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes has aren't horrible, but amplified and underscored by the near constant loading cripples the game in a way that is unnecessary.

I have a confession to make. I loved the premise of Puzzle Quest (and it's successors) but simply couldn't get into the game. I respect the innovation of combining RPG elements with match-3 gameplay...

Revamped graphics and audio ; Interesting suite of multiplayer options ; Asymmetric units ; Deep gameplay easy to learn but difficult to master

Difficult for colorblind players to play without the overlay

I have a confession to make. I loved the premise of Puzzle Quest (and it’s successors) but simply couldn’t get into the game. I respect the innovation of combining RPG elements with match-3 gameplay, but for some reason Puzzle Quest just didn’t hold my...

Addictive puzzle battles and a ton of content make Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes hard to put down.

Outstanding puzzle-based battle design with loads of units and strategic depth ; Lengthy, challenging campaign ; Charming story with anime-inspired character art

Somewhat steep learning curve

At fifteen bucks, there's a tremendous amount of content here in the story alone and the multiplayer and quickplay modes will offer plenty of strategic puzzle combat once the fires of evil have been tamped out.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes- Xbox 360

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a delicious blend that masks its less welcoming ingredients with the grace of Tom Cruise in Cocktail. Its innovative, genre bending mechanics, forgiving design, brisk pace, and lovely setting more than compensate for...

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes- Xbox 360

Clash of Heroes was a great strategy game that not enough people played. This remake will hopefully remedy that. It's hard to deny the value proposition here: you get a remake of an already great game, with enhanced HD visuals, much better balancing,...

I love the rebalancing of specific abilities and the multiplayer implementation, but I wish that some of my other problems with Clash of Heroes had been addressed in this port. Nonetheless, you can do much worse for your puzzle fix.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes- Xbox 360

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is one of those "just one more turn" games that is nearly impossible to stop playing. Battles are tough and sometimes unfair given the surprises that await you as you fight your way across the land of Ashan, but the...

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes- Xbox 360

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is where it's at. I loved it on DS, and this HD version is even better. A deep, clever puzzle game mixes well with a beautiful role-playing adventure. This is a game to get lost in, providing hours and hours of single-...
