Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition (Xbox 360)

As fighting games go, Mortal Kombat has always held a distinct place in the history of the genre, shunning the often cartoonlike style of its contemporaries in favor of gore and guts. Its latest incarnation is no different, pushing the boundaries of...

Does this fighter withstand the transition to handheld? Find out inside.

Mortal Kombat

The long running fighting series finally returns to its 2D roots. With it comes the series trademark visuals and sounds. Everything is presented in impressive high definition visuals - Mortal Kombat has never looked this good.

What can be found in Mortal Kombat though is a series of awesome unlockables, that you'll get from playing through Mortal Kombat enough. Fans of the series are sure to appreciate these a lot more, but they're still cool to unlock regardless.

It's strange to note the general opinion of the new Mortal Kombat, generally that this is a return to form, as if all the previous generation outings for the series were absolute garbage. We couldn't disagree more; their willingness to throw in the...
