MX vs. ATV Reflex (Xbox 360)

The MX vs. ATV series seems to not only represent the battle between motocross bikes and all terrain vehicles, but also the differences between arcade and simulation racing. The newest entry, Reflex, attempts to combine the best of both worlds:...

MX vs. ATV Reflex

Over the years, the MX vs. ATV games have delivered a solid, if unspectacular experience and its current-gen installments have also been good, but also felt like last-gen games with a visual tune-up. Rainbow Studios has attempted to address this...

After a slew of all-too similar games, the MX vs. ATV series has been reborn with its new control systems for riding and tricks, however, more work is needed for both of them before the series can truly sit among the top-shelf entries in the genre like...

MX vs ATV: Alive

For all that's good about this game, the way the content is locked down and cut down (from the previous version) hurts the end product, and the unique pricing structure makes it all too easy to be cynical about it all. That said, if you want to enjoy...

Not as much revolutionary as it is evolutionary. Ever since the first time I played Motocross Madness on the PC I have been obsessed with the Rainbow Studios team and...

MX vs. ATV Reflex - Review

As a precursor you should know that I always enjoy watching the X-Games event or shows like Nitro Circus on MTV, there is something about lots of mud and gasoline powered vehicle that makes me feel like a man. Even though the holiday rush of triple-A...

Other than the rider’s reflex (controlled with the right analog stick) the game’s other controls are fairly basic and gamers who have played this type of Xbox 360 title before will feel right at home, no matter which vehicle type they choose. My...

MX vs. ATV Reflex- Xbox 360

MX vs. ATV Reflex is a racing game that most should enjoy. With great visuals, solid sound, and enjoyable gameplay, there is a whole lot to like here. The addition of the new reflex control system makes for a motocross racing game that most should...

MX vs. ATV Reflex Review (Xbox 360)

Ever since I heard about what that word Reflex actually meant in the title of this game, I have been anticipating it like a kid waiting for Santa Claus to hop down my chimney. For those of you who don't know, the Reflex in MX vs. ATV Reflex refers to...

Controls are amazing. Graphic detail is superb. Online mini-games

Too many crashes. Lack of depth. Online waiting times

MX vs ATV Alive Review

It's been a long time since anyone was truly excited about a dirt bike simulator. This game certainly hasn't filled me with anticipation, but maybe I'm [...]

Unless you’re a die-hard off-road racing fan, then "MX vs. ATV Alive" probably isn’t the title for you. What’s on offer is decent enough, but there’s so little of it. And it’s so horribly throttled that you'll likely not have the endurance to even...

Frustrating, realistic, spastic and hard to control

I had some real high hopes for it but it fell short. Untaimed was a horrible game but this one is a little better. Mx vs Atv unleashed in my opinion is still the best game in the series.

Ruts would develop, technical supercross tracks, large areas of riding and goo detail in the terrain

The bikes often decide to do 360's, drop the front end or do a very quick wheelie randomly or for little reason. Thier strive to be realistic was overdone w/some of the bikes responses. The preload function seems to not work at all most of the time
