Whipped into shape, but not stardom

Playing goalie is a blast ; Fixed wonky bits from last-gen versions ; Fun, realistic hockey

2K Sports comes through with a solid playing, nice looking next-gen Hockey title.

The only other complaint I have is that the menu system is clunky, hard to navigate and often does the opposite of what you expect. Prompts are worded strangely in some instances and you really have to read them to avoid exiting to a menu or something...
