Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Review

For Ni No Kuni, the magic is in the mix.

Ni No Kuni easily stands with the best Japanese RPGs of this generation, and I believe it will stand the test of time to become one of the beloved adventures that people remember for years to come. This is the game for everyone who wishes they made...

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) Review

Level-5 has produced some of the most memorable J-RPG games to date. Their non-typical approach to storytelling without re-hashing the "same old", and their production and core gameplay being their accolades. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch...

Interesting world to explore ; Narrative is deep and charming ; Lots to do, this one packs on the hours ; Production visuals are out of this world ; Combat is fun and tactical

Childlike appearance might throw off mature gamers ; Side-quests become repetitive ; A.I. adaptiveness is dull in battles ; Some reading is necessary, entire game isn't overdubbed

Ni No Kuni is an one-of-a-kind experience and highly gratifying. Rich with emotion and packed full of charm, don't let its childlike demeanour fool you, this is one solid role-playing game, and dare to say, an instant classic.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch review: Ghibli's godsend to gamers

There aren't enough games that want to simply make you smile. Plenty make us roar in victory and umpteen make us satisfied, but there aren't many that leave us gleefully grinning from ear to ear.

Looks and sounds absolutely magnificent ; Incredibly deep battle system ; Heaps of side-quests and post-game collecting

Trickier moments can be a little frustrating ; Ghibli-animated cutscenes appear less as you progress
