Prototype 2

[Prototype] kind of just came out of nowhere. In a world full of serious sandbox games, the ability to play as infected anti-hero Alex Mercer allowed us to dip, dive, glide, and destroy more objects than any game since Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Prototype 2 Review

The city that never sleeps is once again wracked with infection, monsters and martial law. Except this time it's not only struggling to cope with a fresh outbreak of the violently ravenous Blacklight strain, or the jackboots of amoral military grunts,...

It’s a tussle between painting the streets with tendrils and watching tanks get smooshed by crap flying everywhere, and unleashing my pack of brawlers on a Blacklight base. Although, come to think of it, ground smashing spikes off a skyscraper...

Prototype 2 Review

It's been said that revenge is a dish best served cold, but James Heller can't wait for his anger to cool down. Infected with the mutating Mercer virus by the man himself (Alex Mercer, the antihero from the first game), Heller sets out to stop the man...

As the old adage goes, absolute power corrupts absolutely, but having absolute power in Prototype 2 is so damn liberating, that it's hard to care about anti-hero Sgt. James Heller's gradual downward spiral as his humanity ebbs away. As a lead...

A relentlessly fun game, Prototype 2 is marred only by a barely decipherable story and a dull, unsympathetic character in Sgt. James Heller. Everything is geared towards showing you a good time though, and if you can switch off your brain, you'll enjoy...

Prototype 2 Review

Prototype 2's brutal delights help it to overcome its sporadic missteps.

Empowering movement mechanics ; A huge variety of deadly attacks ; Incentives for experimenting ; Collectibles are fun to hunt down

Almost no challenge ; Contains little that hasn't been seen before

There's little reason to perform such an act other than the delicious enjoyment you get from tormenting those weaker than you. As your opposition becomes better equipped and more plentiful, the door opens for even more ridiculous sequences of gleeful...

Prototype 2 Trailer Released At New York Comic-Con

Prepare to stab, absorb, smash and all the other relevant adjectives on Heller's quest to find Alex Mercer in Prototype 2

The game is coming out April 24th in North America and as far as I know there is no European release, if somebody could confirm this for me that would be great. I unfortunately can only find details of the North American release
