Quantum of Solace

James Bond movies created half of the action movie clichs in existence today, and theyve been cashing in on them ever since. The series video game counterparts have tried to cash in on those same stories and action with varying levels of success. 007...

Quantum of Solace Review: Goldeneye it Ain't

The new James Bond games all try to emulate Goldeneye, but they mostly fail. Is Quantum of Solace the exception to the rule, or just another one of those games?

Quantum of Solace: Xbox 360 Review

Any developer stepping into the rather shambolic world of James Bond video games is a brave one. Ever since Rare set the standard for the franchise with Goldeneye, it has yet to be surpassed. Goldeneye was great, not only because you could drop in and...

Story covers Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace ; Daniels Craigs likeness ; Decent visuals

Large chunks of the story are missing ; You may have to watch the films to know what is going on

If you like James Bond and you like first person shooters, you can't go wrong here. While the game will not win any awards for innovation, there is enough here to satisfy even the sternest critic of generic first person shooter.

Quantum of Solace

Shaken, not stirred–Quantum of Solace rattles the long-running Bond series in a desperate effort to return the name to notoriety. Revamped multiplayer and a brand new first-person campaign transform an aging Bond into a slick super agent for a new...

Incredible variety, satisfying action ; Finely tuned multiplayer ; A return to grace for the franchise

Confusing plot ; Short length

Fantastic action covers up a bad story and short campaign, making Quantum of Solace an entertaining ride. Robust multiplayer offering a range of modes, reward system, and balanced play extends the value once the brief single player experience is over....

REVIEW: License to imitate

Offing henchmen as the most badass Bond since Sean Connery

Too short; not enough Quantum of Solace.; Multiplayer is just an imitation of Call of Duty 4 — without the fun

Shaken or stirred?

Quantum of Solace

The Bond name in the gaming world has been thrown around the ring more times than Bond himself has been captured and subjected to some kind of interrogation. Bond games have generally come and gone, leaving relatively no impact on the gaming world...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Quantum of Solace because I did, but this is coming from a huge Bond fan. The single player campaign was entertaining and boasted intuitive and responsive controls; our only grumble is its length. The campaign is...

Quantum of Solace (360)

No, Treyarch, I expect you to die.

Is it really a surprise just how mediocre this game is? No it’s been made to a budget and a schedule by a developer who can seemingly only aspire to imitate other (better) games. If you want a good Bond game still stick with GoldenEye 007 or even Rogue...

Quantum Of Solace

So the latest James Bond film Quantum of Solace is the most successful film of the series, breaking box office records, blah blah blah. EVERY new film somehow seems to break records. Quantum is the first 007 outing to actually continue a story and the...

COD4 enemy intelligence ; Great action in 1st and 3rd person views ; Play missions from QOS and Casino Royale ; Smooth character movement ; Solid voice work from the main cast ; Levels based directly on film locations

No car or boat chases ; Some objects can be destroyed but others can't ; Some flicker between shots in cut-scenes ; Could have been longer ; Sometimes get lost even with a map

So multi-player keeps you playing long after you've completed the movie narrative (you could easily complete it in two days on the first try as New Recruit). The Call of Duty 4 engine works beautifully and taking cover in third person view puts you...
