Raskulls Review

A quirky little game that succeeds brilliantly in its simplicity and low learning curve. It is truly a game for anyone.

Raskulls is a fun game that’s only real fault is that it left me wanting more. It’s a excellent choice for a party game, because it’s still fairly playable even after your friends have had a few drinks. If you have friends over often, it's an easy...

Clever humor mixed with derivative gameplay. Charming is a word often overused to describe today's more colorful and quirky titles. While I hate to follow trends I can't think of...

Multi-player is a delight ; Well-written humor

Gameplay gets monotonous ; Cheap AI = frustration ; Lack of multi-player modes

Raskulls Review (Xbox 360)

this new game fuses both a kind of racing and standard platform jumping into a humorous hybrid that's an enjoyable addition to the XBLA lineup

Raskulls Review

Halfbrick, the developer behind several independent hits (including the addictive produce-slicing Fruit Ninja HD on iPad), have started off the New Year with a bang, thanks to the help of several skull-faced beings with a penchant for running through...

Along with the great stage design, Raskulls also has excellent character design. Even though the Raskulls look the same in general, their costumes really give them distinct personalities, from the wise-ass wheelchair bound military dude to the...

Raskulls Review for the XBOX360

The king demands it!

Cute and funny cast of characters; Colorful and sharp in HD; ...even though it's fairly fun

Fairly short campaign; ...if you can stomach the shallow gameplay

A long game of chase offers many variations.

The humor of the Raskulls’ animated world skews a little young, as does the fairly benign difficulty of the central path on the main quest. That path has a number of optional turns, though, many of which lead to brutally challenging missions that...

Raskulls Review

Mr. Driller meets Mario Kart meets Mario Bros.

A lot of games are built around one great idea...then there's Raskulls. This XBLA title indie dev Halfbrick jams together a series of seemingly incompatible ideas: It's part 2D platformer, part racing game, part Mr. Driller-styled block-busting puzzle...

Raskulls Review

This block-busting platformer has plenty of quirky charm, but the action is too simple to be interesting for long.

Cool combination of block busting and platforming ; Frenzy levels are fast and exciting

Predictable level design ; Core gameplay is too simple ; Multiplayer lacks long-term appeal

Raskulls is an enjoyable adventure that never quite reaches its potential. The block-busting mechanic is a neat idea that had the chance to transform a traditional platformer into something that was not only unique, but also darn fun. But the levels...

Puzzle games are a dime a dozen, and most of them don't seek to evolve the genre. The majority of the time, you see slight variants in gameplay, such as Luxor's slight variation?to Zuma, but nothing really pushes the boundaries of previous iterations

Raskulls is one of the best puzzle games I've ever played, and the gameplay is extremely varied: check it out.

Boosting The Experience

Great competitive and casual fun that is spread over single and multiplayer game modes. Ideal as a family party game as well as entering serious competition with friends

You are going to need an Internet connection or friends to fully enjoy the fun that can be had. Slight lack of variety in multiplayer modes

Raskulls is essentially an on-foot side-scrolling racing game that blends action and platforming into several hyper-competitive levels. Each race challenges four competitors who are tasked to get from the start to the chequered flag before the other...
