Great character designs ; Fantastic battle system ; Above average music ; Multi-generation storyline ; Cool but creepy collector's edition

Graphics look very dated ; Voice work volume is low ; Steep learning curve ; Loss of pride

Record of Agarest War Review

Record of Agarest War is a traditional strategy RPG that has a few nice perks but stumbles enough to keep it from greatness. It's being marketed as an erotic SRPG, but in reality it's actually very tame. A little cleavage is all you're going to see...

Record of Agarest War- Xbox 360

The mix of fantasy turn-based strategy and RPG dating simulation is an intriguing combination, though a little less sexiness in favor of more substance to expand on the relationship system would be a welcome improvement. Still, you'll get many hours of...

Record of Agarest War is a traditional strategy RPG that has a few nice perks but stumbles enough to keep it from greatness. If you're a fan of the genre, Agarest War will provide a very long adventure that spans generations.
