Rez HD

Rez is one of those titles that has a firm split in its fan base. You either love it or you hate it. When the original title was released on the Sega Dreamcast and PS2, it quickly became a sleeper hit. Since it was a very limited production run, copies...

For those who have not been fans in the past, Rez can be a tough sell. Its unique style may be considered "too unique" for some and it is definitely not a title for the masses. However, the much lower price point of this new version may be the gateway...

Rez HD

This has to be the hardest review I've ever written. To describe Rez in a way that is clear to comprehend and explain its sheer awesomeness without repetitively using the word awesome. To put it quite simply, Rez is not just a game, Rez is an...

One of the best games I have ever played

Immersively amazing.

Trance Vibration is welcomed back, but this time, rather than a separately purchased add-on that could understandably be mistaken as a sex-toy (and in some circles used as such), Rez HD uses additional 360 controllers to offer the functionality. Yes,...

Rez HD

It's taken it's sweet time but Tetsuya Mizuguchi's iconic masterpiece finally hits XBOX Live Arcade the way he originally intended it. It's genre-defining yet no bugger bought it when it first arrived on Dreamcast and PS2. Here is your chance to...

Rez HD

When Rez HD was announced for the Xbox Live Arcade as an early 2008 release, Microsoft was answering the prayers of thousands of gamers who had been enjoying the little-known game on the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 since late 2001. There were many...

I think the score is deserved. Length and breadth, while important, can't be qualities heavily weighted into every review. Look at the critical success of Portal. All things taken into account, the cost vs. value assessment is the same between the two...

The brilliance of Rez isn't in some singular quality like graphics, but in the way everything comes together to create an audio and visual interactive experience that is uniquely its own.

Rez HD Review

After many years languishing with rare releases on the PS2 and Dreamcast, Q Entertainment has brought Rez to the masses. And I can't think of any better way for it to happen: for $10 on Xbox Live Arcade on the 360. This sci-fi "on rails" shooter brings...

Rez HD is a perfect fit for the 360 and its affordable 800 point ($10) price tag makes this one a must have. Well, if you really hate the rail shooting genre, and you hate electronic music, and you hate fun, then you might want to skip this game....

Rez HD Game Review - Xbox 360

While the game received critical praise it still went mostly unnoticed by the general gaming public

If you missed the game the first time, this is the best way to get it now. It's also really trippy

It's really trippy, if you're prone to headaches, this might not be the game for you

Part of the reason for this was likely due to the fact that Rez was almost impossible to find at retail

Rez HD - Xbox Live Arcade

Almost as good as two turntables

Gorgeous graphics ; Amazing soundtrack ; Solid game play

Only five levels ; No multiplayer ; No trance vibrator

And now gamers have another chance to check Rez out, but with full-screen, high resolution graphics to boot. This is one of those rare titles that add strength to the argument of games as art. Get it.

Rez HD - Xbox 360 review at Thunderbolt Games

Rez on the Dreamcast was the very definition of a marmite game that separated players into two groups; people that managed to ‘get' it, and will to this day fervently defend its corner. And the people that saw this supreme mind-fuck of epic proportions...
