Snoopy Flying Ace Review

Curse you Red Baron!

Comprehensive multiplayer suite; classic, simple gameplay; unique tone and concept; great value and fun for the money

Multiplayer can be a little too chaotic for some tastes; single player campaign feels a little lacking, limited maps

Somehow it all works and I canÂ't imagine the game not carrying the Peanuts license; it just feels right. The overall tone is quite irreverent to both its subject matter and its license. ThereÂ's little doubt that the creators were well aware of the...

Snoopy Flying Ace Review for the XBOX360

Braving air no dog has ever braved before.

One of the best air combat games ever; Undeniable charm everywhere; Incredibly easy to pick up; A lot of depth; Strong multiplayer; Lots of local and online modes; Shooting up those annoying Live avatars; Only 800 pts

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

Snoopy Flying Ace is a real surprise; it's not a particularly deep game, and we have some concerns over its longevity. That said, in the downtime between big game releases it's well worth picking up. Well made and keen to exploit all the opportunities...

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

Snoopy Flying Ace may not do anything that arcade dogfight games of past console generations didn't already cover but it remains a unique title in the XBLA catalog and I'm glad that I gave it a chance despite its questionable provenance. I suspect that...

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

XBLA, and the 360 in general, is rather lacking in WWI-era dogfighting titles, and while this won't exactly please the fighter pilot sim crowd in any way whatsoever, fans of Crimson Skies or Blazing Angels should be right at home with its arcadey thrills.

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

While there will indeed come a time when the game's simplicity will cause players to grow tired of it, its tight, immensely entertaining gameplay will ensure that players get far more than just ten dollars of high-quality entertainment out of the package.

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

Snoopy Flying Ace is a genuine surprise in a sea of predictable major releases this year. It's the rare licensed title that uses the property as a means to augment a rock-solid foundation of good game design and great controls to make something really...

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

Even though Snoopy Flying Ace might not be the deepest combat flight sim out there, you can't argue with how much game it gives you for the $10 asking price. Regardless of what you think of the story and setting, all of the solo, co-op, and multiplayer...

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

Don't let the Peanuts license scare you away by thinking this is some cheap cash-in; it actually adds a nice layer of charm to the game. This isn't the deepest flying game you'll ever play, but it's certainly among the most fun and accessible. For $10,...

Snoopy Flying Ace- Xbox 360

As a forty-two-year-old who grew up reading Peanuts, and has since bought every volume of The Complete Peanuts, I had a real blast playing this simplistic but fun arcade game. It isn't terribly deep or long, but then it's not terribly expensive or...
