Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review

The latest Spider-man game finally gives the alternate universes a chance to really shine, but will it make up for the last few duds? And with Arkham Asylum raising the bar for comic books games, can Spider-man hold a candle?

Sound production doesn’t get much better than this. The cast of actors is great, and each Spider-man has a different actor: Neil Patrick Harris (Amazing) along with Josh Keaton (Ultimate), Christopher Daniel Barnes (Noir ) and Dan Gilvezan (2099)....

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

According to the FakeAPStylebook on Twitter, the correct plural of Spider-Man is “Spiders-Man.” Normally this isn't the sort of thing one worries about, but when one is presented with a game such as Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, it becomes...

Great way to incorporate several different Spider-Man versions ; Fun dialog and great voice work ; Spider-Man Noir stealth levels

First-person fighting scenes ; No free-roaming of New York City ; Spider-Man can't crawl on every surface in the game

While at its heart it's a basic beat-em'-up, it's still Spider-Man and it's still a lot of fun.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (360) Review

Four Spider-Men search for pieces of an artifact to prevent their universes from being destroyed.

On playthroughs, levels open up in sets of four so players are free to choose the difficulty and stage order they'd like. Don't like Noir all that much? Leave him for first or last and then just focus on pure action from the other three Spider-Men....

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

It's been a lean couple of years for our favourite web-slinger, as the latest gaming iterations have been a touch sub par to say the least. What better way to rejuvenate the franchise than drawing upon four different Spidey universes to create a slice...

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is thoroughly entertaining, but a combination of niggles and obscure design decisions drag it down. Despite that, it's still probably the best Spider-Man game on consoles and is well worth a look for that reason alone....

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man’s had a rough go of it over these last few years. His movie franchise has tanked. He’s had his marriage erased by the devil. The Broadway musical based on his life was delayed, canceled, restarted, and now looks like one of the biggest...

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

REVIEW: Arachno-Four-ia

Four different Spideys to play as, each with a unique skill set.; Snappy writing and great in-game delivery

Levels can grow repetitive

All these different versions of the Wallcrawler are great, but where’s the most important one: Zombie Spider-Man?

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review

Web-slingers rejoice. Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions has finally arrived and it is the wall-crawler at his best. Shattered Dimensions follows four different incarnations of Spider-Man in an attempt to foil Mysterio in world domination. You take...

Noir and Ultimate were the standouts in my opinion, but as I stated previously, everyone who opts to play the game will pick favorites. You also have various voice actors who have all contributed to the Spider-Man franchise at some point in the past...

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man is back! Four of him actually, in Beenox and Activision's newest Spidey adventure, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. This third person action title gives players the chance to play as four distinct Spider-Man personas from different...

This is one of the better and more interesting Spider-Man games I've played to date. While still shy of greatness, it's definitely worth a look for Spidey fans or anyone who enjoys third person action. For most, a rental will likely suffice due to the...
