Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360)

The Force Unleashed's action can be incredible, though it too often strays from what it does best.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

The Force Unleashed, when it was released back in 2008, was generally held as the ultimate fantasy simulator, as it finally let everyone be the Jedi badass they had always longed to be, wielding ridiculously powerful abilities and batting aside foes...

The Force Unleashed II is a big disappointment as far as sequels go, and the game doesn’t really live up to any of the promises that were made in terms of plot or content. We were told that Starkiller’s return would be justified, explained and...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

Let me begin this review by asking a question: Why did LucasArts decide to release a sequel to The Force Unleashed?? It can?t have anything to do with the fact the first game got poor to mixed reviews by most critics. ?The developers probably weren?t...

The Force Unleashed 2 should honestly have never been made. There is very little content and even less creativity to speak of, the gameplay problems from the first game have not been properly solved, and the story is a blemish on the Star Wars franchise.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii)

The Force Unleashed was a long time coming when it finally hit store shelves. Many people got hyped about the physics engine that LucasArts had been pushing with detailed destructible environments, but my guess is that it was simply the Star Wars name...

Very fun gameplay; good use of motion controls; strong use of Star Wars license

Generally subpar graphics; repetitive, linear gameplay

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Ever since Luke Skywalker decimated the Death Star, Yoda lifted an X-Wing, and Darth Vader conquered the Emperor, fans of Star Wars have wanted desperately to wield the ?force.? While there are still no Jedi Academy recruiters visiting local high...

In the end The Force Unleashed felt like a rushed and unpolished vehicle for a good Star Wars story. If it had spent another year in development and had all the kinks smoothed out, it could have been a truly memorable gameplay experience. Only diehard...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review [PS2, PS3, Wii, X360]

Remember when you were younger and you wanted to be Luke Skywalker, or for some of us Darth Vader? Well enter the new guy, Star Killer who is Darth Vader's secret apprentice and our newest edition to the force. The Force Unleashed takes place between 3...

The force is the main weapon unlike in other games ; Wide variety of environments ; Enemies and destructible environment react accurately to whatever happens to them

Ridiculous load times ; Great momentum ends with a soft lackluster thud ; Respawn points are badly placed

Star Wars fan boys are sure to get a bigger kick out of Unleashed than you're average gamer, so if you aren't a fan of Star Wars renting this title would be the best decision.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review

Neoseeker's Chad provides an in-depth review for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the best-selling game yet in the celebrated Star Wars franchise.

The game is very short, only taking me a little more than five hours of total play time to beat every level without collecting all of the Jedi Holocrons within each level. After going back and getting most of them, the game was starting to become...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The venerable Star Wars saga makes its debut on current-generation consoles with The Force Unleashed, giving players the power to slice, dice, fry, and fling about helpless Stormtroopers with their midi-chlorian enhanced might. The design team felt...

The audio is fantastic, and the graphics will impress more often than not. The fun combat system and epic story are moderately spoiled by a poor targeting system, bad enemy AI, and some glitches.
