Tekken Tag Tournament 2

In the music industry, the "Greatest Hits" album has been a staple for every major band. Even when there aren't enough hits to fill a disc, that's not going to stop a record label from trying. It's an easy way to make a few extra bucks off of consumers...

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is often cheap and barebones. However, it's also one of the most comprehensive fighting games I've ever played. With 59 characters and thousands of moves, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has been specifically designed with fans in mind....

Ask a gamer what their favorite fighting game is and I’m certain a good percentage of them would list Tekken as their preferred fighter of choice. Since its debut back in 1994 it has garnered fans with its unique fighting engine and deep gameplay...

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Review

Over the years, my favorite Tekken game wound up being Dark Resurrection, originally released as a Sony PSP exclusive. I think it was because that Namco built a fighting game that was just so well-suited for the PSP hardware, and without being able to...

I'd love to tell you that Namco has breathed a ton of new life into this ailing franchise with TTT2, but it's just not really the case. It's still a fantastic fighting game that will sell plenty of copies to the series' fans, but it's not a fantastic...

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Review

What does a bear, a panda, a jaguar, a kangaroo, and a raptor all have in common?

Solid roster; Doesn't take itself seriously; New tag team moves; Strong online modes and online connectivity; World Tekken Federation; Many unlockables and customizable options

Lack of cooperative play outside of Pair Play; Easy difficulty setting hardly affects story boss battles; Wish there was Tekken Bowling (Namco, I would pay for this as DLC)

Apart from the lack of cooperative options, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is everything that a sequel to the original should be: more characters, more fighting mechanics, more moves, and more over-the-top craziness. Namco Bandai understands that the hardcore...

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Review

As we rapidly approach the hind end of the generation it's probably fair to say that it's been a tumultuous time for the fighting game genre and the community that follows it. A tiny, hardcore-driven subset at the start of the generation was exploded...

Landing the first full Team Assault alone - there’s nothing like mastering a new mechanic.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Playtest: It’s Actually Tekken Unlimited Plus

With moves like juggles and bounds, there is a lot to learn in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 if you haven't touched the series since the PS2 launch title Tekken Tag Tournament. Fight Lab mode teaches players the basics while they rebuild Combot.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2

It's hard to believe it's been 12 years since the original Tekken Tag Tournament. It seems like only yesterday when my mother and I went to EB as quickly as possible on the PS2's launch and picked this game up alongside the system. I got it home,...

This works great for "what if" scenarios, like playing through a few stages with the Super Mario Bros. 1-1 theme blaring, or changing out the palace theme for something from God of War to keep the epic feel, but just mix it up a bit. Having the ability...

Tekken Tag Tournament 2- Xbox 360

I finally have an answer to the age old question of who would win if a man with a leopard's head teamed with a giant panda and fought a boxing glove clad dinosaur and an ogre. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 answers this and other burning questions in the...

Strong tag system infuses strategy and new gameplay elements ; Crazy, bombastic presentation ; Huge roster of fighters that control differently and have unique moves ; Fight Lab game mode for new players

Tired music and voice work ; Fighters walk too slow ; Few training options to work on timing

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a solid and wonderfully executed fighting game. With an ample roster, slick fighting mechanics, and loads of gameplay, it can certainly hold its own for a few rounds with the heavyweights of the fighting genre. The tagging...
