Telstra T-Touch Tab

Telstra's T-Touch Tab is proof of the adage "you get what you pay for". Its AU$300 price tag gets you a tablet that is as hard to use as it's ugly to look at.

Decent processor ; Android 2.1 ; Inexpensive

Appalling touchscreen display ; Dismal battery life ; Dreary hardware design

It's one thing to save AU$600-AU$700 buying a cheap tablet, but it's still a waste of money if you grow tired of struggling with the clunky input and decide not to use it after a couple of weeks.

"Great little item and not too bad for the money."

Like the review above it's good and bad. I've had mine for nearly a year and the battery is stuffed now and only stay's charged for 2 hours and telstra keeps on palming me off to battery world and their world of accessories to get another battery. But...

does everything away from home without a hard line or wifi

no support from Telstra

Telstra T-Touch Tab

I tried one out in the shop and didn't bother. The build quality and price turned me off (I recently saw the lowest spec Ipad on Sale for $400). If you want something with similar features but costs only about $100, buy an EPad. The EPad is obviously...
