The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Xbox 360)

Prince Caspian combines simplistic gameplay with a confusing narrative for an action adventure that unfortunately isn't as good as the movie on which it's based.

The Voyage of the Yawn-Stretcher

Co-op and huge cast ; Riding monsters ; Non-movie content

Rudimentary visuals ; Irritatingly repetitive ; Ain't worth full price

We’re sure two Narnia-loving pals playing co-op would get some joy out of Prince Caspian, but as Traveller’s Tales seem to think that repetitive fighting of respawning goons interspersed with constant ‘find a cog, open a door’ tasks is fun, it's...

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince C..

Prince Caspian faithfully mirrors the movie's plot but mercifully omits the teenage angst.

Prince Caspian had the potential to be an enjoyable game that would even appeal to those who have never seen the film. The missions aren?t too repetitive and the battle levels are fun and exciting. It's pretty cool to see dozens upon dozens of Narnians...

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian review

I'm as shocked as the next man, believe me, but after struggling to enjoy the opening level of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian on the PS3 I abandoned it to the play-when-I've-nothing-else-to-review basket. Lo and behold but the PR machine...

Does The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian do what we all expect, and slide around the u-bend of movie tie-in hell? Surprisingly, no.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Xbox 360) - Gameplanet Review

As movie tie-in games go, this is actually rather good. It flows well, is visually impressive and maintains sufficient pace and excitement to keep the young player tuned in for many hours. With winter weather putting a real dampener on the school...

Plenty of (bloodless) battlefield action nicely balanced with some simple puzzle elements. A good range of mythical creatures to play and a variety of environments to explore. 'Drop in/out anytime' cooperative multiplayer. Great graphics. Just the...

Playing as the Pevensie children isn't half as much fun as taking up the mantle of a hulking, giant-riding minotaur. Puzzles and combat quickly become repetitive - however from a child's point of view this is a big plus

Highly recommended for all!

Having gifted gamers with the sublime Lego Star Wars – possibly the only console franchise to unite both young and old players – approaching Traveller's Tales' latest trip to Narnia isn't as gut-wrenchingly bleak as most movie spin-offs. All the more...
