Incredible Hulk - XBox 360

Now With Video So You Can Suffer Along With Me

I can't believe a next-gen game would actually be released with gray blocks for buildings and people who bounce off walls when you throw them. What a disaster

The Incredible Hulk review for the XBOX360

Hulk SMASH! ... And Smash! ... And smash!... and smash...

You break shit; Breaking shit is fun

but it gets old very quickly; . . .and thats all you do.; Underpowered story and voice acting; Mediocre graphics

In the end, The Incredible Hulk is like so many Hollywood Summer blockbusters: It starts with a cool idea (Hulk destroying stuff) but, from there, grinds to a halt in terms of delivering on its promise. I won't say it's a bad game, because you can get...

Yes, that's right friends, yet another movie tie-in. A comic book movie tie-in to boot! After the disappointment of Iron Man, can SEGA redeem themselves? First signs point to "no" as they have given the job to developers Edge of Reality, whose previous...

The game has major issues. The graphics aren't that great and the realism is non-existent, the voice acting is plain awful and boring and the freezing/frame-rate issues are inexcusable. However, the game can be fun in the Crackdown-esque city romps....

Hulk smash puny humans!” That one iconic phrase from the angry green giant sums up Sega's ‘sandbox' offering to coincide with the new film. Well, you could probably add buildings, satellite dishes, vehicles, and tanks to the list of things he...

Though the game seems to track exactly how much of each neighborhood you destroy, it forgets to actually display your damage when you load up a saved game. You can go into the game's statistics and see that you knocked over half of the buildings, but...

The Incredible Hulk Review

Summer marches on and here we are again with another comic book to movie to video game adaptation. This time it's for The Incredible Hulk, a sort of re-imagining with a new star (Fight Club's Edward Norton) and an adjustment to the formula. ...

Edge of Reality seems to simply not have had enough time or money to do anything original with The Incredible Hulk. This is a pretty classic example of what's wrong with summer movie games, where the most fun can be had reliving that short theater...

The Incredible Hulk (Xbox 360) Review

The gamma-powered monster is destroying the box office, but does the 'movie-inspired' game have the muscle to back its big-screen brother?

The Incredible Hulk

If Bruce Banner played this game he'd feel too sleepy to get angry.

Provides a wide-open sandbox environment for Hulk to run around and destroy; Hulk model looks decent

Repetitive gameplay with lots of bugs and clipping issues; a bland and joyless sandbox to play in

System crashes won't stop you from enjoying Hulk Theft Auto

Everything can be destroyed ; Fight film and comic villains ; Multiple Hulk costumes

Hulk is sluggish early on ; Missions are unimaginative ; The game freezes too much

While annoying, the lock-ups don't really do much to dampen how outlandishly fun the game is. If you like the Hulk and you enjoying destroying things, you'll enjoy your time with The Incredible Hulk, even if you have to reset the system from time to time.

The Incredible Hulk Review (Xbox 360)

based on Marvel Comics' green goliath. Of course, with a new movie comes the inevitable new video game tie-in. This time, though, the Hulk's rage comes to consoles courtesy of Sega and Edge of Reality

game, you'll get the extra bonus of an exclusive Achievement and a Hulkbuster Iron Man character

Product Specifications

Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was a genius nuclear physicist when one fateful day, his life changed forever. While supervising the trial of an experimental gamma bomb for the U.S. defense department, a teenager accidentally wandered onto the testing field and Banner made the split-second decision to save him. After shoving young Rick Jones to safety in a nearby ditch, Banner was struck full-force by the gamma energy. Soon after the blast, Banner noticed horrifying changes within him. Whenever he became angry, he transformed into a phenomenally destructive beast known as The Hulk. Fueled by an unfathomable fury, The Hulk can climb buildings, leap incredible distances, throw cars like they were toys and of course, crush anything in his path with his trademark Hulk Smash. Relentlessly pursued by warmongers who dream of abusing his powers, The Hulk will never stop searching for the antidote and never stop fighting to get his life back. Attack enemies with street lights, hurl manhole covers, jump on the sidewalk and use the broken concrete to your advantage - anything and everything can be used as a weapon.
