Tom Clancy's HAWX

HAWX although not a hardcore sim may be propping up kitchen tables around the world very soon

HAWX although looks great is let down dramatically in its dimishing gameplay and limited multiplayer modes.

Tom Clancy's HAWX Review [PS3, X360]

In the world of gaming combat, Tom Clancy's name is branded on just about every genre of action and war game that there is. It began with the Rainbow Six series that evolved into the best tactical shooter series to date, the advanced first person Ghost...

Play fully assisted or fully unassisted ; Unlock the latest in 5th generation air combat ; Lengthy campaign able to be played cooperatively online ; Excellent controls and graphics ; Excellent concept and story ; Lots of different modes and views to...

Versus multiplayer requires that you compete with only the best jets and weapons ; Mission replay video hard to follow

The Tom Clancy world expands into advanced high altitude warfare bringing with it some excellent game play and some competition to Ace Combat 6.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

Publishers continue to shape the industry to appease mainstream gaming audiences. It's not just that, of course. Somewhere along the line, people just got tired of genres like P&C adventures, flight sim games, etc. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. is the first...

Maps look sweet, cool and exciting single-player missions, a wide selection of planes, altogether quite fun

Short-ish single-player, wingmen not very helpful

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. - Xbox 360 review at Thunderbolt Games

Tom Clancy has a knack for creating worryingly plausible storylines for his ever expanding franchise and H.A.W.X. is no different. In 2014, private military companies are full-sized armed forces allied to no party except their shareholders. One of...

Tom Clancy's HAWX

You just cannot seem to get away from Tom Clancy these days, he first jumped into the first person shooter genre, then hopped on over to some stealth action, before dabbling in some real time strategy and has now decided it is time to freshen up the...

I expected this to be a rather dull and repetitive flight simulation but nothing could be further from the truth. It has a superb arcade feel to it, whilst at the same time lets you also play it realistically should you so desire. The assistance OFF...

Decent Sequel

Good game overall, if your looking for a game to be able to play 15-20 minutes at a time. You just found it

Very similar to the first HAWX, while adding some features that should have been part of the first one, such as the ability to take off and land

The only thing is one of the new features is the refueling while in air, while a very interesting concept overall. It is more annoying then cool unless you can control the aircraft with pinpoint precision

Somewhat Cool

Still a great game, I always wanted a good flying game & this is pretty close to what I expect. Real video would be nice, like tomcat alley, what is wrong with videogame designers,we have the technology, were is the movie for us to play?

Very cool flying game, addictive for sure, Tom Clancy has some of the best shooters ; Visuals are nice ; I used cockpit view to get used to the fighting, seemed to help a lot ; Online play seemed really cool & faster too, I was blown out of the sky

Seems like you are flying so slow, I hate the targeting, having to press a button to select next target, should be more automatic, triggers should be weapons

Good game

In my honest opinion if you put HAWX and Ace Combat 6 together into one solid game as far as graphics and gameplay goes you would have a top notch game, Ace Combat 6 was a bit of a pain as far as multiplayer on xbox live goes but HAWX actually was...

Good game definetly and controls are alot easier then ace combat 6, I like how they used Google earth to make the terrain and what not. The ranking system in the multiplayer is also really cool and you actually have to earn the rank to by unlocking...

This is the only reason why I gave it 4 eggs out of 5, I liked Ace Combat 6 because it was very genuine. The graphics of the aircraft are not nearly as good as AC6 but the controls are alot better you also arent able to land and take off from airfields...
