Tomb Raider: Underworld (Xbox 360)

When Eidos handed development of the Tomb Raider franchise to Crystal Dynamics, it was a risky but ultimately wise decision. The team managed to reinvent the series while staying true to its roots with Tomb Raider: Legend, while Tomb Raider:...

Continued storyline that mixes in Norse mythology +Being able to shoot while climbing or hanging +Lush, beautiful environments with lots of exploration possibilities

Camera willl still get you killed -Motorcycle segments don't fit well -Too much emphasis on fighting

If you've never played a Tomb Raider game, do yourself a favor and go play Tomb Raider: Anniversary, then Tomb Raider: Legend, and then this one. It's time you finally met Lara Croft.

REVIEW: Endangering species around the globe since 1996

Its puzzle-based platforming just feels so nice.; Megaton of unlockables, speed runs, and long, meaty stages

Motorcycles; fighting people; some glitchiness, oy vey

Somewhere, is a mama bat crying for all her dead babies?

Tomb Raider Underworld

Every man and their dog claims to be a gaming icon in this day and age of gaming. I'll tell you now though, one or two successful games doesn't grant you that status, so shut it Sackboy! It takes a good foundation and year after year of abuse to get to...

Amazing game!!!!

This has to be the best Tomb Raider game yet. One of my favorite things about Underworld, is the way lara moved. Every time she tumbles, flips, dives, leaps, or falls, looks absolutely amazing and stunning. They used motion capture to create a...

I loved the level design, the way Lara moved, and of course, as in any other tomb raider game, the plot

Waaay too short, and even though all was resolved, the ending was kind of sad

Tomb Raider: Underworld (360)

Tomb Raider again.

This game takes the core elements of the Tomb Raider franchise and refines them. The platforming sections are generally excellent with some very well thought out puzzles, the animation throughout is gorgeous and the story actually gives you something...

Tomb Raider: Underworld

Just over five years ago, the Tomb Raider series reached an important turning point, with the release of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. The first 128-bit game featuring Lara Croft was a long-awaited one, and had been delayed several times to...

Lengthy, enjoyable adventure ; Controls are easy to get to grips with ; Best looking TR game to date

Jumps can be annoying at times ; No major steps forward in game-play

Underworld is a good game, no doubt about that, and certainly one worth playing through. If you go looking for all relics and treasures, it can last you many hours, though it's no short shift if you ignore them either. It's perhaps lacking the same...
