Tony Hawk's Project 8

The online experience carries the Birdman's eighth outing, despite its stumbles, into next-gen.

Visually fantastic levels; great online integration into the guaranteed-to-be-lengthy single-player game

Wonky controls hurt the gameplay; Nail the Trick is more gimmick than gameplay; upgrading a skater feels like an RPG level grind

Neversoft has aired the gap with THP8, bringing it to the next-gen level.

Since the 64 bit original release for the Playstation in '99, Neversoft has pumped out seven more sequels, and to the surprise of the majority of followers to the series, they would continue to add, modify, innovate, and enhance in many areas of the...

Project 8 makes a lot of changes that will please fans of the series, but a few technical issues keep it from being as great as it could have been.

Good Game.

Video during loading screens ; Real style of the pros ; Alot better graphics ; One press of a button to speed up getting up after crashes ; Manual button

No Create-a-park ; Camera angle shifts when moving, you get used to it ; Unstable frame rate ; ONLY 8 levels

Weird how you credit Jason Lee with what you did - Mallrats, Enemy of the State, Stealing Harvard, when he's best known at the moment for TV's 'My Name Is Earl'. Enemy Of The State was just a glorified cameo, and who saw Stealing Harvard?

Awesome graphics, to be expected.

Steep learning curve filters out the newbies - only experienced Tony Hawk-ers should apply.

Super challenging. If you were bored by being so good at GHI, you'll definitely find a challenge here. Great graphics, I LOVE practice mode, and the amount of songs is astonishing. They also improved hammer-ons and pull-offs so well, which is...

Saying that Freebird is HARD is an understatement. It needs to have a checkpoint or something halfway through! Other than that, really nothing to complain about!, Frame rate is frequently unstable, Skater creation options aren't as in-depth as they...
