Transformers: War for Cybertron Review

There's more to this licensed game than meets the eye.

Fans can rejoice. Not only is this hands down the best Transformers game ever made, it’s also a very robust third person shooter in its own right. You can tackle the story with up to 2 other people at a time, or enjoy a well done multiplayer...

Transformers: The War for Cybertron

More than meets the eye. I want to get this out of the way right off the bat; I am a huge Transformers fan. I own the uncut DVD release...

Addictive online mode ; Tons of fan service ; Three-player co-op ; Peter Cullen returns

Only six online maps ; Repetitive environments ; No Frank Welker

The release of Arkham Asylum last year brought new life to licensed games. Rocksteady took the best parts of what made Batman Batman, distilled those elements

Transformers - War For Cybertron

I recently reviewed the Nintendo DS versions of Transformers - War For Cybertron, and have since been enjoying the heck out of the console version created by High Moon Studios. War For Cybertron is complete with two campaigns and online play, starring...

High Moon Studios did a great job with Transformers, finally bringing gamers a vision of Cybertron and its popular inhabitants that we've long wanted to see. Both the campaigns and multiplayer sides offer a lot, making the total package impressive and...

Transformers: War for Cybertron Re..

Great license, ok game

Excellent use of Transformers license, smooth transformations, Escalation mode is a blast

Brain dead AI, difficulty through ammo scarcity, cheap boss battles

Even with the game's various problems I kept finding myself excited to play and looking forward to the next chapter to see which characters would be along for the ride. It doesn't hurt that I'm a huge fan of the Transformers with more toys than I know...

Transformers: War for Cybertron

The Transformers are the very definition of a multimedia property. The brand’s roots are in action figures, but since their introduction in 1985, Autobots and Decepticons have appeared in countless TV cartoons, comic book series, and movies. Before the...

Transformers: War for Cybertron

Out of all the cartoons I used to watch on TV during the days of my geekish childhood, the Transformers was the only one that kept my attention for some reasons. Maybe I liked the characters or the setting or the music or perhaps it was just my boyish...

Transformers fans shouldn't miss out on this one, the voiceovers and cut-scenes evoke the feel of the old animated cartoon series, it's generally a fun ride in every mode that's on offer

The game doesn't bring anything new to the action genre, friendly AI gets confused and annoys the hell out of the player

Transformers: War for Cybertron

I've never been?one "in-tune" with the Transformers franchise, as I was much more of a G.I Joe and Ninja Turtles kid. The idea of a non-movie licensed Transformers game didn't get me as excited as our own resident robot nerd and podcast junkie Paul...

War for Cybertron, while not particularly innovative, is nonetheless a solid shooter that throws the franchises' awful movie tie-ins aside and paves a new path for Transformers games to come.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Review

I'm thoroughly convinced that cartoons just aren't what they used to be, but then again it's most likely the nostalgia factor that has finally settled in hard-headed old age. But I can say that without a doubt that Optimus Prime and his fellow...

It’s far from a bad looking game, as I mentioned earlier there are a few set pieces where the game shines, but for the most part WFC falls short in the good looks department. The audio on the other hand is stellar with most audio and voice actors...
