Viva Piñata: Party Animals

When Viva Piñata Party Animals (VPPA) was first announced at E3 last year, I was excited about the title, as both my daughter and I were huge fans of the original game. What I didn't pick up on at the time was that it would be a "Party Game" featuring...

While the game is billed as a dreaded party game (usually hit-or-miss), Viva Piñata Party Animals is able to blend the beauty of Piñata Island and it’s original cast a characters into a playable game that is both entertaining and fun to play in a group.

Viva Pinata Party Animals Review

Microsoft tries to do casual games but these piñatas aren't filled with fun.

Overall, Viva Piñata Party Animals is a pretty big disappointment - the only fun there is to be had for adults are the GamerScore points, while kids didn't enjoy the game either and would rather hit the Wii for some casual gaming. Even if your kids...

Viva Piata: Party Animals Review

Why must you taunt us, Microsoft? First, you release one of the best games of 2006 to with no fanfare. Next, you package said game in one of the oddest looking, most childish packages in videogame history. Then, uber-nerd Bill Gates calls gamers who...

What the game lacks in modes, it makes up for in the number of challenges; at least on the surface. The game boasts forty-two challenge events. With gamers needing to win one event to unlock another, it will take quite a bit of time for gamers to see...

Viva Pinata: Party Animals review for the XBOX360

F These Effigies!

Bright, colorful presentation; Realistic character physics

Weak in its already flooded genre; Insultingly repetitive races; Borrowed. watered-down mini-games

Viva Pinata: Party Animals

Exactly the kind of typical cartoon-based party game you always thought this franchise could spawn

Races are fun ; Padding your Gamerscore ; Playing original Viva Pinata

Some minigames are dull ; No smashing other Pinatas ; Finding someone to play with you

Viva Piñata: Party Animals Review (Xbox 360)

First came out on the Xbox 360, I didn't think there would be much to it. Then I started playing the game and it quickly became my guilty gaming pleasure. I couldn't stop obsessing over these candy-filled critters

Library, it's a safe bet your find at least a few entertaining distractions

E3 '07: Viva Pinata: Party Animals

Pinatas are they new age pokemon !! ... okay just kidding ... But they are still cool. ^.^ Post a Comment

As a party game, Viva Piñata: Party Animals was more fun than Mario Party 8 based off of the 10 or so minigames I played. It may not have the memorable characters or known people a la the Mario Party franchise, but as far as party games go, it's the...

Viva Piñata: Party Animals

Rare has been having a rough start on the Xbox 360 so far. Perfect Dark Zero wasn't nearly as good as we expected, Kameo: Elements of Power felt like a 3-D Zelda game without any of its good components and Viva Piñata didn't become that next big game...
