Viva Pinata: Party Animals

Viva Pinata: Party Animals represents the latest step into a burgeoning mass market by Microsoft Game Studios. Building on the under-appreciated Viva Pinata, this party game offshoot succeeds in reviving the paper-mache cast of characters in a new game...

Great visual style ; Races are entertaining

Most mini-games lack fun ; No option to play just mini-games

Party Animals gets a little out of control with its shortcomings, but that doesn't keep it from being entertaining for the little ones. A great presentation and some quirky moments make it charming for children.

Viva Pinata: Party Animals

Viva Pinata: Party Animals isn't much of a game to be enjoyed by yourself. Playing it alone won't prove to be much entertainment for long. It has a strong multiplayer focus which is why it is of course a party game, being able to play with up to...

Over 50 mini-games to be unlocked ; Good fun among friends

Lack of game modes ; Poor single player emphasis ; Slightly repetitive gameplay ; Playing online requires a minimum of four players

Viva Pinata: Party Animals

This one's strictly for the under tens. Big kids would be well advised to revisit the original Viva Piñata for their ‘party animal' fix.

Vibrant, first-rate graphics, familiar characters from the TV show and a generous compilation of mini-games and racetracks should prove attractive to younger players

Many of the mini-games are variations on a theme… and we've seen ‘em all before

Seriously lacking

Viva Pinata: Party Animals

Viva Pinata was a real achievement. In a pleasing return to form, Rare served up the perfect balance between an accessible, relaxing experience for the casual gamer and a deceptively deep gameplay mechanic for those who play a little more. Turning your...

Viva Pinata: Party Animals

Last year Rare created the utterly sublime Viva Piata and not only proved that it was still a developer to be reckoned with, but that it was more than capable of beating Nintendo at its own game.

Awfully disappointing spin-off that insults on practically every level. The developers at Krome deserve to be punished, just like we were when playing this.

You won't have as much fun as they're having on the cover.

It's a dissapointment i like simple games and just want them to be fun but this is 1 minute mini games and it's just boring. Even on multiplayer it's not that fun i bought it a while ago and have played it a few times another important point to this is...

not keen

This game was ok but i rented it for one day and was ready to send it back. It is quite cute and fluufy but definately one to play with kids of which I dont have. If your wanting something MORE to play that is a bit more challenging then go for mariocart.
