Interserv International brings the age-old game of Crossword to the Xbox Live arcade - but have they added enough spunk to keep this game interesting for more than a few hours? Um, no.

If the game was a bit cheaper and clocked in at something like 400 points instead, it might be a bit easier to recommend - but for 800 points Word Puzzle will definitely need some more content released to stay afloat.

Have you ever opened up your favorite newspaper and headed straight for the crossword puzzle, jumble, cryptoquip, and word search residing somewhere in the middle? I have, and working on the four of those could be pretty enjoyable on a boring morning....

There isn't much more to say about Word Puzzle. It is your Sunday newspaper's word search with a little extra incentive and competitive play thrown, but the gameplay isn't as good.

comes to Xbox Live Arcade, you have a pretty good idea what you're up against. It's not going to be heavy on action or push the graphic envelope all that much. You're in for some cerebral aerobics
