WWE 13 (Xbox 360 & PS3) Review

THQ brings back the Attitude Era as their story mode does it make you want to say Hell Yeah or Hell No? Come read on to find out.

WWE ’13 Review

Although my initial brief encounter with WWE '13 earlier this month seemed questionable, I remained optimistic. Okay, the game's not finished yet and it's got some technical issues, I thought. The controls feel clunky and the characters seem...

The sheer amount of game modes, creation modes, characters, DLC, etc. is sure to provide hours of entertainment; if, however, you can stand to sit through the lengthy loading screens, sluggish controls, and overall sub-par experience of the game play....

WWE ‘13 Review

WWE ‘13 is one of the most narratively robust games on the market.

WWE ‘13 is one of those games that has just too much content to review. I’ve had WWE ‘13 for a couple weeks now and I still haven’t seen everything the game has to offer. It has a feature set unlike any other and its commitment to both built-in...

adds onto an already solid foundation, and puts the attitude back in wrestling games, both literally and figureatively

WWE '13 Review

For me, the inclusion of the Attitude Era Mode, which replaces last year’s rather dull Road to Wrestlemania Mode, is the highlight of the game. It allows me to relive and replay some of the greatest matches and moments in WWE history, and the game...

The Attitude Era Mode is awesome; The huge roster of WWE Superstars; Reversals are easier to execute; Easy to use controls

Encountered glitches with objects; A few instances of missing prone opponents from the top rope; Camera angle made it difficult to get a clear view of matches

WWE 13

WWE ‘13 features the largest roster in a WWE title to date, and fixes some of the problems seen in its..

Overall, WWE ’13 offers a lot more of what we want (and less of what we don’t) than last year’s release. It features a lot more customizations, a larger roster, and superior story mode. It feels more polished. This is the game WWE ’12 should have been.

WWE '13 Review: The return to the Attitude Era leaves us Stone Cold

It's fitting that WWE '13 takes us back to the Attitude Era, because the series reminds us of one of that era's most famous sons. No, it isn't the effortless suaveness of The Rock or Steve Austin's reckless disdain for authority that inspires thoughts...

Excellent arenas, crowd and ambiance ; Attitude Era is one hell of a nostalgia trip ; The best roster in yonks, even without the DLC packages

Awkward, unintuitive countering system ; The worst hair models in all of gaming ; A tired series that needs a complete refresh

WWE 13 Review

More WWE shenanigans to grapple with.

I will openly admit that I had lost a lot of love for the WWE video game franchise in recent years and wondered whether the latest in the series "WWE 13" could rekindle any enjoyment I had with the games throughout their history. It is fair to say that...

WWE '13 Review

WWE 13 is far more fun than its predecessor, but this is largely down to some slight improvements to the core mechanics and the addition of hero-era nostalgia.

Attitude Era is a boon for wrestling fans ; You can now counter. Really

Trading on past glories and nostalgia ; Presentation is still hit and miss
