We had high expectations for the K800i's successor, the K810i -- Sony Ericsson has consistently pushed the boundaries between mobile phones and standalone digital cameras. But is this upgrade merely skin-deep?

Sony Ericsson made two of the best camera phones ever, so we expected a lot from the K800i's successor. Unfortunately, what you get with the K810i is a remodelled version of the K800i -- it's a good camera phone, but it lacks the wow factor of its predece...

Given its pedigree, it's no wonder that we had high expectations for the K800...

Very good phone for those who want a great camera, bluetooth, music player, video camera, and easy accessability and are willing to shell out $250-$300. Downsides are that it doesn't have a designated carrier in the US so settings will have to be download...

Call strength, photo quality, easy to use buttons, easy to transfer files, full 3d games, great music player, bluetooth

not directly supported by US carriers so you must download settings, must have special headphones, memory is expensive, no designated call/end call keys

Although the k810i looks great and is slimmer than its predecessor, I'm not convinced with the features. The k810i is lacking the basics that the k800i could offer in things like MP3 tones, contacts list, UMTS. It seems that if you want a phone thats got
