Time Crisis 4 blasts its way onto the PlayStation 3 and into next-gen territory. But has time finally run out for the much-loved series?
So, it's unfortunate that despite having its share of good points, Time Crisis 4 seems stuck in the past. It didn't get off to a good start when it came to the initial set up
After what's seemed like years in the making, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has finally screeched onto the Playstation 3. So, do good things come to those who wait?
Now that might seem like the biggest load of nonsense ever. And some might ask what makes Polyphony Digital so special that they can make consumers part with almost 20 quid for something that is essentially unfinished? The reason for doing it is clear - t...
Old games never die, they just move on to new formats. And while most arcade classics have found their way onto mobile phones these days, the animated classics of Don Bluth are heading to a Blu-ray DVD player near you...
If you want to see how that actually relates pretty closely to the Space Ace series, check out the Progression Reel, which splices together comparative footage from the Commodore Amiga, Deluxe Pack, 20th Anniversary CD-Rom, DVD, Laserdisc and High Definit...

Last week we were at a secret location to check out the brand new downloadable map pack for Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. As you can guess we were licking our lips in anticipation, so, were they any good? You bet they were.
There were burnt out cars, sounds of gunfire filling the air, oil drums cast aside and even army rations to help ourselves to. But we passed on the powdered chocolate pudding, and after a brief presentation from developer Jason West, we got down to action...
It's been a long time coming, but Stranglehold has finally blasted its way to the PS3. And for action Jacksons who love shooting things up there aren't many to touch this.

With Halo 3 being released not so long ago it's a wonder why anyone else would want to release another first-person shooter, especially given the mass fanfare that surrounds the Master Chief and co. But abandoning all sense of reason, TimeShift has taken...
We've seen the ability to slow down time so often, but the addition to rewind and stop it altogether does mix it around a bit, slightly

It was only a matter of time before the orange-furred marsupial made his way to the next-gen consoles given his many previous outings on the PSOne and PS2. But this time round things are a little different, not 'better' different either.
But the fact was the series had always provided the non-stop jump and dodge thrills commonplace in games of yesteryear, before the industry became obsessed with the third dimension and first-person shooters

Judging from all those action movies you'd think being a member of SWAT was an adrenaline pumped living on the edge type of job where fast-paced shootouts and split-second decisions were a matter of life and death. Well think again.
Now usually in the movies, whoever was in charge of national security would say something like "I want our best men on the case". Well it seems there weren't many around because it's just you and two others tasked with bringing the terrorists to justice....
