This multifunction shooter is a jack of all trades, but master of none.
Interesting design implementation with dual analogue gauges; PMP functions; decent image quality.
Lacks wide-angle lens; slow performance; screen a tad small for extensive media viewing.
The NV9 is suitable for non-fussy shutterbugs who don't need a quick performing shooter. Although it lacked some features such as wide-angle optics, other functions make up for it.
One verdict is in on Canon's EOS 5D Mark II: Its sensor ranks very high on DxO Labs' test of sensor performance.

We like the R10 a great deal, just as we liked its predecessors, but it hasn't made enough headway with the same issues--namely noise.
Loads of features; highly adjustable settings; retro styling.
Noise issues; not very fast performance.
Smart, retro styling? Check. Feature list as long as your arm? Check. Decent image quality? Sadly not. Obtrusive noise and average performance speed let the Ricoh R10 down. Still, the camera's versatility give you a headstart over its failings.
This shooter's average image quality didn't go well with its style and looks.
Nice design; lots of shooting and playback options; effective optical image stabilization; 28mm wide-angle lens with 5x zoom.
Average image quality.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W150 ranks above average on looks and features, but it doesn't quite match up on photo quality.

This point-and-shoot is rich in features but its image quality can't match its competitors.
28mm wide-angle lens; stylish design; HD-video-recording capability; fast-performing High-Speed burst mode; touchscreen operation.
Noisy images above ISO 200; inconsistent autofocus; awkward positioning of popup flash.
The NV100HD is a stylish point-and-shoot that has plenty of functions for shutterbugs who want everything, but we wished its image quality could be better.
