canon selphy es30 review: Though it's not as quirky as Canon's "bucket" printer, the ES30 does an excellent job of printing near-lab quality photos in a portable, attractive package.
Good print quality, Quirky design, Fast user interface
Expensive print costs, Only Canon's ink and paper cartridges can be used, Noisy
Though it's not as quirky as Canon's "bucket" printer, the ES30 does an excellent job of printing near-lab quality photos in a portable, attractive package.
brother mfc-6490cw review: Brother has unveiled the world's first multifunction unit capable of printing, scanning, faxing and copying up to A3 size.
Decent pricing, Small form factor
No multifunction capability, Not terribly quick print speeds
hp photosmart c6380 review: An excellent all-in-one printer for the home and small office, the C6380 pairs great photo printouts with an easy to use interface.
Excellent photo-quality prints, Very easy to use, Wireless/Ethernet connectivity, Very quiet during printing...
...and very noisy afterwards, No document feeder
The C6380 is a versatile, relatively inexpensive all-in-one option for a home or small office. Excellent photo prints and black and white documents make the investment worth it, but do consider the ongoing cost of consumables in the overall package.
lexmark x7675 review: The Lexmark X7675 is a network-ready multifunction printer that promises much, but delivers little with its average print quality and frustrating setup process.
Extensive network connectivity, Compatibility with high yield cartridges
Quality of colour prints is average, Blacks were not deep, Generally clunky setup
This is definitely not a printer to buy if you want a multifunction to simply plug and play into your computer. The X7675 is truly a network printer, and an overly-complicated one at that, with average print quality and performance.
epson stylus cx5500 review: This affordable multifunction printer is suitable for light users and students, offering print, scan and copy capabilities for under $100.

hp photosmart c5380 review: Affordable all-in-one printers are a dime a dozen these days, but from the looks of it the C5380 may just be one of the best.

Low initial cost, Simple, attractive design
Expensive replacement cartridges, Sluggish as a photo printer, Poor-quality prints, No Ethernet port
The Dell V305w is cosmetically appealing and inexpensive, but the output quality needs significant improvement, and the cost to maintain the printer is much higher than the industry standard. We recommend checking out the competition for a printer that wi...
hp deskjet f4280 all-in-one review: The HP Deskjet F4280 is an affordable printer for students and home users as it does a pretty good job of printing. However, if you also need a scanner that does a top job then this all-in-one printer is not for you.
Affordability, Ease of use, Impressive results in Normal mode, Speedy draft mode
Scans display lots of noise, No alternative connectivity, No LCD screen
The HP Deskjet F4280 is an affordable printer for students and home users as it does a pretty good job of printing. However, if you also wanted a scanner that does a top job then this all-in-one printer is not for you.
hp deskjet d4360 colour inkjet printer review: The Deskjet D4360 justifies its asking price nicely. At the same time, you do get exactly what you pay for.
Inexpensive to buy, Small desktop footprint, Fast, Good quality basic text, Decent image quality
Photo quality could be better, It isn't an MFD, Large amount of crapware, Shaking and noise problem
The Deskjet D4360 justifies its asking price nicely. At the same time, you do get exactly what you pay for.
hp deskjet d2560 review: A bare bones desktop printer with a minimum of features and accessories, the HP Deskjet D2560 is really only suitable for printing basic black and white pages. Don't trust it with your photographs.
Lightweight design, Simple installation, Decent black and white printing
Poor colour photo printing, Four-page per minute cycle is sluggish
We know it's a cheapie, and the AU$59 RRP is less than the cost to replace both the ink cartridges, but it's still really only suitable for students printing essays or parent's printing recipes. Don't trust it with your photographs.
