Excellent display quality; sleek design; built-in Wi-Fi; zippy performance; easy to set up; supports MP3 and video playback.
Expensive; glossy finish is a fingerprint magnet; relatively small screen; Mac owners can't wirelessly connect to their computers.
Kodak's OLED Wireless Frame offers excellent image quality and features for a rather preposterous price.
Thin; reasonably priced; removable wood frame; landscape/portrait autorotation.
Poor photo compression; confusing menu systems; only a 90-day warranty.
The GiiNii 8-inch Ultra-thin Digital Picture Frame is a good, pop-in-a-card-and-view photo display, though the execution of its features is disappointing.

The photo frame is attractive and well built, with a solid metal back; it has a bright, sharp 8.4-inch display, 1GB SD memory card included, plus slots for virtually all memory card types, as well as a mini USB connection to connect digital cameras, thumb...
No extra features, such as Wi-Fi, MP3, or video capability. It's also pricier than similarly sized models.
Cagic is new to the digital photo frame arena and its claim to fame--or at least its marketing pitch--is that it's keeping things simple while making a frame that's more stylish and better constructed than your typical digital photo frame.

Attractive real-wood frame; nice-looking display; motion sensor automatically turns frame on and off.
Slow downloads; most transition effects do not operate smoothly; very small remote control; only a 90-day warranty.
In spite of some performance issues, the Smartparts SPX12 is a good-looking frame that for the most part lives up to its claim of making it easy to transfer photos from a memory card to the frame with almost no effort.
Vibrant screen resolution, print order queue, all-inclusive infrared remote.
Large footprint, no touch screen, counterintuitive button layout, USB 1.1, meager memory capacity, lacks hardware features commonly found on digital photo frames expensive cartridges.
The SmartParts SP8PRT's laundry list of negatives far outweighs the positives, proving that some devices just aren't meant to be hybridized. If you simply must have both digital photo frame and a printer, do yourself a favor- stay away from this...
PanTouch interface offers a degree of convenience over using traditional buttons; bright, sharp 8-inch diagonal display; 512MB of built-in memory, plus slots for virtually all memory card types, as well as USB connectivity for digital cameras, computers,...
Design is a bit generic looking; the built-in speakers sound tinny; the frame is interchangeable, but no additional frames are included.
While the Pandigital 8-inch PanTouch's new interface doesn't make a huge difference, the frame is a generally solid choice with an attractive feature set.
The Aluratek ADMPF210 has a nice wooden bezel, good 1,024x768-pixel LCD screen, and its Separate Windows mode gives a nice twist to the usual slide show.
The frame doesn't include any wireless capability, video playback is hit or miss, the speakers don't sound very nice, and the frame can't automatically size down images when copying to the built-in 256MB of memory.
The Aluratek ADMPF210's nice wooden bezel and 1,024x768-pixel screen make it an attractive choice to display still images, but it falls short when trying to play back videos, and its speakers can't do justice to your MP3s.
Built-in wireless connectivity allows you to tap into your home wireless network and stream images from your Windows PC or the Kodak EasyShare Gallery online photo-sharing service. The frame has a bright, relatively sharp 10-inch diagonal display, 128MB o...
Fairly pricey; the built-in speakers sound very tinny; and when transferring photos to the display's internal memory, images aren't automatically resized to the size of the display to reduce file sizes. Music playback controls could be more straightforwar...
Kodak's Wi-Fi-enabled EX-1011 offers the same strong feature set, good image quality, and online integration with the company's free EasyShare Gallery online photo-sharing service as its highly-rated 8-inch brother, the EX-811--but the EX-1011...
With its large, 15-inch screen and relatively inexpensive price tag, this Pandigital should garner a lot of attention. Its 1024x768-pixel resolution, memory card slots, 256MB of built-in flash memory, USB connectivity for thumbdrives, and direct connectio...
Numerous AVI and MPEG videos that we created with digital still cameras wouldn't play on the frame, and the built-in speakers are tinny, so you shouldn't count on it to listen to music, but it'll do in a pinch.
The Pandigital is nice for displaying your photos, but you shouldn't count on it for video playback.

The built-in speakers sound very tinny; when transferring photos to the display's internal memory, images aren't automatically resized to the size of the display to reduce file sizes. Music playback controls could be more straightforward.
While it has a few minor flaws, Kodak's Wi-Fi-enabled EX-811's strong feature set, good image quality, and online integration with the company's free EasyShare Gallery online photo-sharing service, make this frame a top choice in the digital photo frame c...
