Not the fastest GTX 280 you can have but if you're after long term peace of mind, its five-year warranty can't be beat.
Offers great gaming performance, CUDA really offers performance benefits when dealing with compatible apps, works silently.
Very expensive, power hungry.
The GTX 280 is a monster GPU and XFX deserves special praise for making it even faster whilst maintaining its silent operation. Beyond gaming this card also has the potential to seriously speed up certain everyday apps as well. Top marks nVidia.
An aggressively-priced card that performs well at lower resolutions. The only trouble is that its nothing new.

Phenomenal bang for your buck, silent operation, not a power hog, mutli-GPU support.
Runs very hot at standard frequency.
The Radeon HD 4850 is an excellent GPU that offers strong mid-range performance for a very attractive price point. It's not a massive power hog either so you won't need to invest in a new power supply to enjoy its performance and features.
Performs well at high resolutions, silent cooling system, quad-SLI support.
Expensive, heavy power requirements.
MSI's N9800 GX2 is a silent, high-performing beast. If cost isn't a concern, you simply can't do any better in terms of a single graphics card today. The card's support for quad-SLI technology also means that you can also add another, identical card if yo...
When put to the test this suspicion was confirmed. The card returned only average results across all of our tests, at 1024 x 768 pixels. F.E.A.R, Company of Heroes and Need for Speed Most Wanted posted numbers of 63fps, 53.1fps and 55fps. Upping the resol...
The GTS performs with today's games but is ill equipped to tackle next-gen DirectX 10 titles.

Thanks to its benchmark numbers and aggressive price, this is the best choice for midrange gamers.

The Ultra performed as expected when we ran it through our benchmarking gauntlet. Thanks to its higher frequencies, it worked best at 1600 x 1200 pixels.
Though expensive, it's valid if you want to game at high resolutions without going the multi-GPU route.

When it came down to benchmarks, the MSI performed decently. It was faster than the $86 more expensive DFI LAN Party UT board in both our application and gaming benchmarks. Having said that the MSI was slightly slower than the Biostar Tforce 965PT which c...
The P965 Neo2 is a solid board overall but it isn't the best value in this crowd, simply because Biostar's Tforce 965PT Deluxe costs less and is faster.
The EN8800GTS returned the lowest test scores in this exam across the board. Having said that, it is worth noting that the card is capable of smoothly running every game title on the market at present, at 1600 x 1200 pixels. It's just not as fast as its c...
Good gaming bundle, three-year warranty.
Slowest overall performer, very expensive.
A perfectly able release but only offers basic performance along-side its stratospherically high price tag.
