InFocus had to raise the bar, and it has - superbly. A desirable piece of projection tech that fully justifies the outlay.
The end result is simply stunning. Watching Ratatouille on Blu-ray, sending the 1080p/24fps signal directly, the level of detail and three-dimensionality is staggering - you can pick out individual strands of hair. With Cars this subtlety again helps to d...
A very likeable projector, but not the last word in all-round ability
It's a well-equipped projector, too, so we were merrily watching 1080p/24fps Blu-ray content via one of the two HDMI inputs in no time
It's a shame this isn't cheaper: a fine projector if you're prepared to pay a premium for Full HD
Talking of weight, this is a bulky unit. Though, it's what's inside, and the picture it produces, that matter
In a group of amazing quality, the JVC still stands out as an astounding performer at a very fair price
So, with no further ado, we spin-up our Blu-ray copy of Ratatouille. The Full HD picture is a real treat for the eyes, offering stunning detail and razor-sharp edges
A stern challenger to pricier kit: this is an amazing projector for the cash
As before, it's a 1920 x 1080 LCD design, but the 'AE2000E is brighter, has an improved claimed contrast ratio, and boasts tweaks to its lens and image processing designed to sharpen up its image quality
Wealthy and/or maniacally enthused about movies? You must see this…
Simply put, we think this is the best projector we've ever seen, better in all aspects than anything else we've tested, and if that's what you need to make your home cinema experience complete (and, of course, if you've got the money), then it's money wel...

A fine projector: well worth considering, especially if you hunt down a competitive price
Set-up is easy, thanks to simple thumbwheel controls for horizontal and vertical lens shift, and the Sanyo's backlit remote is every bit as approachable as the on-screen menus
This is a fine projector: easy to set-up, quiet enough in operation, and capable of superb performance for its price. It's a must-see.
There are plenty of sockets, while Pixelworks' DNX (Digital Natural Expression) 10-bit processor handles scaling, noise reduction, deinterlacing and more. This is teamed with the latest Texas Instruments' BrilliantColor image processing, a seven-segment c...
Scintillating performance but at a high price. It's this thrilling blend of affordability, flexibility and (above all) capability that makes the IN82 so special. Nothing else we've tested at this price gets close.
Black levels, meanwhile, also impress, with fine insight into the darkest scenes, and there's also plenty of 'snap' to white and bright areas. With Blu-ray, the results are superb, making the Blu-ray of Training Day look as good as it does on many far mor...

A quality design in many ways, and well worth an audition
As before, the Mitsubishi is easy to install, thanks to a short throw lens and fully motorised adjustments for zoom, focus and lens shift. That, coupled to easily adjustable supporting feet, a backlit remote and clear on-screen graphics, makes it simple t...
